  • This is my video of the Capt Le, a shrimp boat that unintentionally sunk in FH-13. Rumor is that a Crew Boat ran into her, but I have no confirmed details yet. She went nose down into the bottom and the Stern is only 12 feet below the surface when this was taken on Sept 6, 2014. Already sporting a pretty good population of fish.

    This video is kind of a jewel of a underwater exposition. Your audio is very helpful and adds to the intrigue. Thank you.

    Your small act of kindness in helping that tiny fish get free of the net did not go unnoticed. Be proud it is representative of the person you are. Of this whole video that is what I will remember.

    Amazing how rapidly the sea takes over. The three fish you freed was a nice touch, as you took the opportunity to save three little lives. I think the life ring would have been a cool souvenir. And yes, I concur, she was rammed by another boat!

    I like this videos but something about being underwater just creeps me out. It's even more creepy for me when the boat is white because it looks "ghostly" compared to the dark water background. I'll never go diving but I'll live through it with videos like this.

    It’s not often you see a ship Sink and stand up like that.
    You think they would remove it as its not that deep and a danger to other ships

    • @MarkPrimo
      @MarkPrimo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      andy morrey This was right after the collision. They did remove fuel, oil, cleaned it up, and layed it down with enough clearance. Luckily it happened to already be within a permitted reef zone.

      My exact thought, all that equipment and that close to the surface, I'm surprised they didn't raise it. For having "just sunk", awful lot of algae built up on everything already.

      I was legit just wondering why I was so scared of being in deep water and being afraid of finding a sunken ship or any other sunken boat, car, plane, or even a body. And I was looking through the comments and I see yours and right then in there I knew that the universe was trying to let me know what was going on with me because I find looking this stuff up so fascinating but I’d be scared shitless to go exploring into the deep water with all this stuff that has been discovered in the ocean and even the stuff that hasn’t been discovered😌

      Bosarge Diving removed the nets and layed it over on it’s side. Been catching fish on it ever since. Interesting story from them during the operation, he said a Marlin chased a Mahi in between the barges and went bezerk as he felt a little trapped in there. LOL 😂

      Idk if you mean pulling the whole boat out of the water because that would cost a lot of money and it would be difficult to even recover it due to the bow being buried deep in the dirt. What goes down stays down. That is officially a new home for marine life.
