They're both fine and valid, but they're not the same thing, and kids shouldn't feel they have to do lewds to be 'successful' in cosplay.

The problem is that the porning question was tagged as Lolita, and on top of that was age accessible for everybody. It was very easy for the poster to actually make it to where minors couldn't access it, except they refuse to do so. It's really not about wearing some of these clothes and sketchy circumstances so much as we have people that have very flimsy ideas of boundaries coming after minors in an age inclusive space. And whether or not cosplayers lose their s*** over something is a bit of a broad statement given that you can't say that all cosplayers would be favorable or consenting or even have that kind of reaction in the first place because the term costplayer is rather broad, it includes a humongous group of people. The Lolita Community is really small compared to cosplayers as a whole, and again we are a mixed age group, IE there are minors in our group. Minors, who do not have the age of consent , so the idea of showing fetish porn to a group of non-consenting minors in addition to non-consenting people in our community in general is really disturbing. The complete argument about people being able to do whatever they want with their clothing is kind of a strawman given that that's not what the argument is about in the first place.

Exposing kink content to the unwilling masses (including minors, who can't consent) is literally breaking that one fundamental rule. Cosplayers do get upset about the porn. But the biggest porn cosplayers don’t go to cons and flaunt it everywhere for everyone to see. The booths where it’s sold is literally a tent that you get carded to enter. Btw, I loved that video and you had so many good points. So, the girl that said that porn has been done in cosplay, I have a few problems with that 1) just because it exists doesn't mean it's okay 2) porn must be labeled as such, and should be distributed to adults only, but that awful picture was out in the wild where minors could see 3) I don't believe they are a Lolita if they took the time to compare it to cosplay, cosplay is something you do for a special occasion and you're portraying a fiction character, but Lolita in the other hand, it's just an individual wearing an alternative fashion, you wouldn't compare vintage fashion with cosplay so why compare it to Lolita. And to the girl that said she was unsubscribing THIS ISN'T AN AIRPORT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANNOUNCE YOUR DEPARTURE

I love how people cannot critically think. It’s fantastic how everyone sees a video posed as a news show and takes it instantly to be completely serious, tame, and yet don’t expect it to have more harsh truth than the real news has bothered to speak in decades. Tyler's salt and spite is WHY I AM HERE. Does she push the boundary a bit? Yeah, but she also recognizes hard limits on humor (has never made racial jokes, etc.). Also pushing the limit is EXPECTED in comedy/humor, especially in the style Tyler does it. She's so verbose and creative in her insults, and the people she tears into always deserve it. She doesn't go for people that are new to the fashion who are open to learning/being educated; she goes for the degens, the people who were offered info but refused it, the people who think they get to speak for the whole of the fashion, etc.
Tyler, keep doing what you're doing how you're doing it. You're hilarious and it's obvious you are passionate about your content. You're a good egg and I respect ya.
