I've the same issue but the green light should definitely go off when the button is pressed. It should only illuminate when operational.....you videa is very good nonetheless.
Hi Catherine. I've just dug this out and the green light is on. When I press the button, the motor starts and the light gets brighter. It's very strange. I might have to look into this.
While on charge the green light flashes which is normal. Fully charged and plugged into the wall the green light is solid. When I pulled out the charger the green light stays on but is noticeably dimmer. Very strange.
Have bought one from Lidl... Broke in 12 months.... Read online that these Karcher don't last and bought a Bosch, lasted me like 18-20 months.... Got one from Aldi and after 6 months it has already failed.
I don't why they can't be more durable, it's only a motor and fan. Perhaps it's the damp environment they're kept in. Thanks for commenting on my video.
@@PhilipBryden your welcome. It must be that. I tried to open the Bosch but couldn't. I would say that something is stuck in the turbine. As for the Aldi one, I just took it apart and to be honest, I can't see nothing broke or corroded or blocking. It works a bit and then stops.
Perhaps the battery is on it's way out. The karcher ones take a bump thenthe fan bladed fouls the inside, so it stops spinning. Either that or moisture gets into the motor spindle and it seizes up. That's why I really enjoyed the 'green light always on' fix video, it was a proper component level fault, which seems quite rare.

@@PhilipBryden well, that's a possibility but the battery is only 6 or 7 months old
You could ask them to swap it, if it's only 6 months old.
