Yeah… the rain we’ve had this year has been just ridiculous. I’m on top of the hill here, and for a while the water had completely filled the culvert at the end of our driveway and was flowing over the top, which washed a section of it away… we also had three large oak trees flop over because the ground basically turned to mud. Down at the bottom of the hill, several auxiliary buildings got flooded (luckily for the homeowners there the water level didn’t quite make it up to their houses).
I like this new horse! Nice head.....nice eyes! He has a good expression and great depth thru the heart. Really looking forward to videos on how he does!!
He's so funny - absolutely loves those scritches! I think a name like Citrus or Goose would work for him - citrus fruits and gooseberries are sour and he has the cutest pucker face with his smaller upper lip

I really like his size, but 15 hands and 15+ seems pretty hard to come by among mustangs, particularly younger mustangs. Question for Sam and/or the gallery... My very limited experience colt starting has always been with 2 / coming 3 year olds, and I've met a few trainers who don't seem keen on starting colts much past that. Generally speaking - not talking about anecdotal exceptions, is there a noticeable difference in ease of training 3, 4 or 5 year old mustangs over the 2 year olds?
