Maguire isn't better than De Ligt but people are strangely afraid of mentioning the deficiencies in De Ligt's game. I'd be happy with him at United but I'm not gonna pretend his passing decisions aren't really annoying sometimes and that he isn't reckless at times when he didn't need to be. He has this in built army of fans online apparently.

Also he has more or the less the same skill set as Branthwaite and are similar types of players expect that one is left footed the other is right footed. The second CB we need is exactly what Todibo brings, someone who can cover up a lot of ground, quick, agile and really good at progressively carrying the ball, because Martinez with de Ligt or Branthwaite progress the ball through their passing rather than carrying it gives us a different dynamic.

ETH also prefers this and always has. We won't bring in 2 right footed defenders. Branthwaite is basically 2 footed. MDL is not. Ideally we get Todibo but it's not looking like it. Is MDL and Branthwaite ideal? Not really, perhaps it's a deal we shouldn't miss out on though if we can chill out on the wages.

All that experience and still only 24. He’s also a ball playing CB who can pick a pass. My only concern is that he had some injuries and the rigors of the prem would be unlike any thing that he’s ever experienced.
Some Utd fans are forgetting some things about this lad. He´s still 24 and has TONS of experience (something we need), is a natural leader, he already worked with ETH and with his record with young players he can still manage to get to best out of him, he is also dominant in aerial duels something we are lacking, is amazing on the ball so with him and licha in the back we are more than capable to play possesion based football, and last if we based on the rumors he wold cost around 45 to 55 million to me that´s a great deal for all the things i mentioned before.

People calling him injury-prone makes me laugh so hard, if u have been following delight right from his Ajax days u will know how much of a beast he was at 18 and was already the captain.
