As a boy I and friends rode our bycycles down the hills in front of Mt. Garfeild. We rode all over that country. Up on top of Grand mesa we tobboganed, on the Natl monument were friends that we visited. We swam in the colorado river and the canals. I lived out on G road and in the winter we ice skated on west lake. What amazing pictures of rugged but beautiful country. I loved living on the western slope. Back then there were No grape vinyards except private ones. The orchards were all cherries, apples, pears, and Peaches. Thank you for this video.
Coloradan's have all this beauty right in their back yard. As a lifetime Illinoian who has has only boring flat corn fields, I can't seem to get to Colorado soon enough.
