47:00 onward "Is it friction?", when asking about the Damping component. "No, friction would be if its moving along another object" ... "It is like air resistance ..." Which is btw FRICTION, hehehehe:) Hey, just as a side-note and physics nitpicking. Great course and entertaining video. Thank you very much for sharing, Nathan!:) P.S.: Some systems/frameworks/models may define "friction" as distinct or with different terminology, but at the end of the day, friction IS A FORCE THAT OPPOSES MOTION. Which "air resistance" also does. Period!:)
The reason the screen keeps changing workspaces each time he compiles is that the default MacOS window manager is garbage (I hadn't seen this particular issue before, but it does not surprise me whatsoever). It notices that another window has spawned and correctly assumes it should move focus from the fullscreened VSCode to this new window. But messes up such a simple operation in spectacular fashion. My immediate guess is that it's because it's not expecting a floating window in the same workspace as a fullscreened window or something.
@37:10 - Does Rust have a way of grouping derives into a single named derive that you could give a nice meaningful name? Seems like a good feature if not. Or could a macro of your own somehow derive the rest?
That's the nature of pre 1.0 releases. They could redo this now, and in 3 months it won't work because everyone moved on to v0.10. You could use v0.8 anyways, and after the fact read the official 0.8 -> 0.9 migration guide.
Cool, thanks 🎉

Nathan: Where did you put me?
Rustacean: Where you belong!
What was that aggressive outburst about cutting lines in the beginning when they were introducing?! What happened?!
At RustConf 2024? It was the audio cable to pipe the game sound to room speakers.

Great video. Every other video is in 0.7 or 0.6.
Sadly a lot of it is not true for bevy 0.9 (not in terms of concepts but API).

What font and VSCode theme is that? I would love to know.
font looks like mona lisa which costs like a shit ton of money but you can torrent it.
If this is the language of the future there is none!
