Thank you for the guide. I used this video and your undervolting videos on my zotac 3060 ti and my gpu rarely hits 70 degrees Celsius now and it doesn't sound like a jet engine anymore.

just followed your tutorial of undervolting 4070 super and it is truly amazing! but now I'm not quite sure whether I should adjust my 3-fan gigabyte windforce 4070 super, for it works around 50-60 degrees, and it seems strange to get one of those fans to span at 60% and the other two will be doing nothing. do I have to adjust my gpu fan at this point?
Hey! I followed this guide and your undervolting guide and I am impressed. My 3090 Ti FE runs so cool now with no performance loss at all. My GPU is yet to go over 55c and I have been running games like Cyberpunk and Baldurs gate 3 all on ultra settings. I do have a question though, so when my GPU is a temp between 30c and 55c the fans operate at 800 RPM, but when the GPU is 55c it doubles to 1600 RPM. I am curious if this could possibly have an effect on the life of my GPU or the fans. I will also mention that sometimes it bounces between 800 RPM and 1600 RPM because the card will go from 54c to 55c back to 54c and so on. But overall I am satisfied and yet to see 60c on any game just worried a bit about the fans.
I’m really happy it was helpful! Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave some feedback! :) I’ve also got a few build videos on the channel and more coming, if you like the content consider subscribing as it really helps the channel! No worries about the life of the components, they’ll be better than before :)
You can set the hysteresis for the last problem youve mentioned! I recommend 10 °C. so when it reaches 55°C, it will run 1600rpm until the temp goes down by hysteresis amount, so in t his case 45°C. This will stop fluctuating speeds and lessen the wear of the fan
My coller in a brand new rtx 3060 asus dual is making rattle noise at 78 to 81% so i undervolt in with your previous guide and make flat curve to 64-80C to 76% and it works flawless, thank god that earth got ppl like you🙏

you mean by coil whine? or rattle from the fans. if its coil whine its normal you can minimize the whine if you are playing a game make sure set the fps lower 60 fps below no coil wine 70 to 90 minimal whine. 100 to 250 noticable whine. i dont know about the rattle but if your gpu rattle on that rate your fans must be bad.
This is insane. I've followed your undervolting guide and this guide and I'm getting 80-100 fps on RE4 Remake with 77C whereas before following your guides I was getting 60-80 fps with 83C. I wish I discovered your guides sooner when I was playing RDR2 lol. Thanks a lot!
Soo when i was playing Valorant my GPU fan speed sometimes increased constantly and then decreased again, is that normal? I'm using GTX 1660 Super and followed the exact setup like in your video.
In cs2 while i play my fans chances in between 60% and 80% so much. Like it is 60% then goes 80% for like 10-20seconds and then back to 60%. So does it harm my fans or gpu or is it just good???
Afterburner is really useful, my gpu is factory preset to 83 degree max temp, but in game my gpu hot spot is 95 and higher. I set my gpu to max temp in a way that gpu hot spot is at max 78, needed a lot of testing with fan curves also. I lost like 10% performance, but expect a longer life for my card.
It's fantastic; I can run any game smoothly with this setup, plus your undervolt configuration for the 4060. If there are any enhancements to the boost setup that you've made, it would be great to see a video tutorial, particularly for the 4060 FPS boost undervolt setup. Excellent work!
manual adjust the fan speed won't cause the chip overheat? cause the fan speed is not in natural mode, not auto let the fan speed adjust itself better even though loud? Gaming in 60 FPS fan speed won't go loud unless disable vsync in game setting for make it higher fps.. high fps the card increase fan speed RPM. If the pc for working or browser only, don't have to bother adjust the fan speed. it won't go high at all..new graphic card, new technology, fan speed 0 RPM
this curve on most cards like stay near airplain :D better use fan control apps for all fan control, and make them push air depending cpu/gpu mixed graph more air to case less temp gpu plus less sound if using good fans
When you test your settings with furmark, it also shows the gpu hotspot. Very much recommended. HardwareInfo shows gpu hotspot also in taskbar when configured.
What should be the maximum fan rpm at around 75C? I usually set the fan speed at 65% (2400rpm) when I'm gaming. The stock fan curve is weird on my RTX 2060. Max RPM i noticed was 1800rpm which causes the temperatures to hit 84 (not undervolted) and 76 (undervolted 900mv) on full load.
Thanks for the video. I tried the 4 node profile you suggested. Tried to save to card. It said it could only do a 3 node save. I did that and it took it. Now, if I wanted to try a 4 node with AB running, how would I reset the to the four node option. It went away doing the 3 node. Anyway, good info. I have some control of the fan speed.

when i try to use "use firmware control mode" it puts my gpu at max fan speed, sometimes even going over 100, so i guess it doesnt work for my gpu, ill just have to be starting the app with windows n minimized right?, i got a Gigabyte Rx 6600 Eagle n i want my gpu to always be at 55 fan speed but go all the way up to 80 is there a way i could have it start with windows but for it to not start the on screen display

@ImWateringPSUs is there a way to make the fan speed go up by seconds instead of going from like 50% to 60% instantly, I want my gpu to go like 51 52 53 54 all the way up to speed it needs to be, cause I feel like my gpu is gon break if the fans kick up instantly instead of slowly, you know what I'm saying?
At 30% (lowest my GPU can go) my fan rpm is 1780-1800. It's loud as hell and it's driving me insane. Some people I've spoken to say their fans can go as low as 900 rpm on the lowest percentage. Is my GPU faulty or something?
it depends on what type of gpu you have if i set my strix 3080 ti the only noise from the fans is around 60% below that no noise at all. what software are you using for fan curves?
if firmware control change your fan curve settings on your gpu is there a way to reset the firmware fan curve settings back to default or do i just uncheck the firmware control box
You give a curve and then at the end change it. Why? Why not stick to one thing at a time instead of switching it up? Might confuse those new to F curves.
So checking the box that says “firmware control mode” will basically save your profile so you don’t constantly have to run msi afterburner at startup or while playing games? Does this also work for the undervolting settings as well?

can't control my fans at all, latest amd drivers yeeted that ability and my gpu fans are still (unless gpu goes above 60°C) it seems no program can turn them on
I have a Strix 4090 OC and also have the line that doesn't allow the fan speed to ever be completely off, BUT I set mine at ZERO regardless and if my cards under 35c it will actually not have the fans running at all - Also as for you not recommending doesn't really, almost objectively make any sense, 30% fan speed for hours a day potentially is only going to cause the fans to wear quicker. My GPU at idle stays between 28-35c MAX! For doing anything other than gaming, such as browsing the web, watching youtube videos, twitch etc. With that said, having ZERO RPM is objectively the better option
I definitely see your point and in GPUs with massive heatsinks that’s actually a very good choice! Be careful with doing it on lower end GPUs with no VRM/MOSfets heatsinks because you do need to cool these with some airflow
"BUT I set mine at ZERO regardless and if my cards under 35c it will actually not have the fans running at all" Same here with the 4080 MSI Ventus, as I also prefer the fans completely off at low temperatures. I have the issue though that I want to fans to stay off also at a higher temperature, let´s say still off below 60 degrees - I changed the curve accordingly in Afterburner, but it seems it´s not being considered. Any idea how to fix that?
i have i gtx 1070 asus turbo when doing nothing the temperature is around 36 to 40 but in gaming for example when i play apex legends temperature jumps all the way to 82 i changed the thermal past added some out take fans but it didn't change much ... i hope you can give me an answer to this problem if you have one nice video btw
@@ImWateringPSUs sure. I have zero fan on until 40c set. But hysterisis is important on 4000series. Thank You! The 4000 series is very well cooled, I test with the 4080, 55% fan speed is more than enough, I never see 60 degrees Celsius. The 4070TI has lower wattage and I think the 60% fan speed is too high, I only recommend if you have terrible case airflow.

@takey2376 Damn bro that sucks 😞 sorry to hear that, hence why I asked first if it worked, I didn't want to try and fck up my card.
I was getting 84 degree under gaming load when I search and find this video and guess what I did? I repasted the card and not it only go to 68 - 71 degree under gaming load which i think is good.
thanks for the vid bro, im using that curve for my 4090 and it is so good!

It s out of the topic, but i still wanna ask.I have a Rx 6600 i have auto clocked it from the amd software, but when I try to play a game my screen flirckers and the core clock and power limit completly change. What could be the reason.
Unstable settings! I'd recommend to manually undervolt it, I do have a whole playlist about it
the fan option does not exist for me
Are you on a laptop perhaps? On laptops you are forced to use the manufacturer software unfortunately
Damn this dude the goat!
Ahahaha my man! Be sure to subscribe to the channel :)
Would this work for rtx 2070?
Absolutely yes!
Thank you for the video
Thank you for commeting!
Do you think these fan curves would be alright for a GTX 3080 card and help make the fans a bit more quiet?
Yes, they should help quite a bit! But I’d very much suggest undervolting as well (I have a tutorial on the channel)
Works with 1660
Thanks

Thank You!
The 4000 series is very well cooled, I test with the 4080, 55% fan speed is more than enough, I never see 60 degrees Celsius.
The 4070TI has lower wattage and I think the 60% fan speed is too high, I only recommend if you have terrible case airflow.

I agree, on the 4000 series you can get away with much quieter fans overall :)

I’m trying to set the curve, but my idle temp is staying at 70 since that’s what I’ve got it set to on the main screen of the MSI afterburner, but when I go into settings- fan- and then make my chart like yours, the idle should be at 30% fan speed but it’s just staying at the stock 70%. Any help?
Bro did u figure it out?
That’s very odd. Do you have a laptop?
10/10!!!
