    Thanks for the detailed explanation! But how do you proceed in JASP if at least one data set is not normally distributed (Shapiro sign.) ? ? I heard that Spearmann is not appropriate because it is rather for non-linear correlation...

      Is the data large enough to assume the sampling distribution is normal? (i.e. N is large?)

      @@StatisticsofDOOM No, unfortunately not, N = 7 (we lost a lot of data due to a technical issue). Does it make sense to calculate a correlation then ?
