Was this a helpful video? It occurs to me I should have shown the type of portable 12 volt air compressor we carry and what you need to have onboard so you not only repair the flat - but can air it up.
hey ya cool demo,I had a Tyre shop a long time ago,try leaving some pressure in the Tyre so it's easier to insert the plug, should do it while the Tyre is on a kombi full of passengers sometimes its hard bro,and I forgot to mention I'm in south africa and dude that's one sweet looking ss,introduce us to her she is really cute)
@@JunaidAsmalthat is an excellent top tip!!! That SS was my first car. Got it when I was 13. My dad and I built it together and then in 1989 I sold it. Long story short was able to buy it back in 2004 and went through a ton of work to get it back on the road.
@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures and if I may pull the contraption which inserts the plug as quickly as possible so most of the plug stay inside and seal the hole better and dont forget always keep a bottle of tyre foam, dude that's one sweet ride, sorry about your old man, good thing you bought cutey back)
Yup. So many people make video "reviews" of these kits *where they don't even use or demonstrate it*, and just outline the contents. So thanks for actually patching a tire and showing the process.

Great tutorial, I think I’ve been under reaming in the past and have broken a few plug tools as a result
You are correct. If the hole isn’t opened up pretty large the plug is impossible to push in.
They don't use plug kits at tire stores anymore. They only patch them. I wonder why?
Plugs can damage the belts and create a spot where air can get trapped between layers. Patching is way better but you have to break it off the bead.
