1. Received HP victus laptop ryzen 7 5800 today from Flipkart but shows warranty running from August 2022.
2. Camera is also too much blurry.
3. Battery only 4.5hrs with basic use. In battery check cmd shows 7 errors 10 warnings 56 informational. In report serial number and name is not coming.

Here are two questions for you.
1. My battery doesn’t show any serial number. Does it mean the battery is changed? Even when I searched with the name of my battery, there was no actual battery report found in google.
2. Below which percentage of battery health should I change the battery?

1. it might be possible that u r using a local battery!
2. You should only consider to change the battery if the health goes below 70-80%. Unless if you feel that the battery life is not enough for your use case, then changing the battery might be a good idea.

For my Lenovo thinkpad T470s the design capacity and full charge capacity is showing as -1 mWh. This is showing for the new battery which was replaced recently. What could be the reason ?

if you plug the charger all the time, your battery will get worse as lithiumion battries dont like to be above 80% or below 20% as it causes more wear and tear of the battery, I saw a video of mrwhosetheboss telling this
so please dont keep plugging in your pc

Hi, I purchased new laptop. Dell G 15 5520 i5 12th gen 16Gb.From 1st day onwards I'm getting a battery drop of 1℅ per minute. I checked task manager, cpu at 1℅, Dedicated Graphics 0℅, memory 5.8GB, WiFi 0 KBps, Integrated GPU 0℅. No external devices connected while testing reports. Design capacity of battery is 54,891mWh, Full charge of capacity is 52030mWh ( which reducing every next day). A total of just 100 min of backup I get on STAND BY MODE(which is with only display onn and no other function on it) I I talk with Dell and they finally agreed that this laptop should give 3-4 hrs of backup on stand by mode. And they ready to replace with new battery.I kindly request you to share your opinion on this scenario that is my battery has a problem? And if yes then should I allow dell to replace battery of new laptop or should I opt for complete laptop replacement? Waiting...for your reply my friend.
It is not necessary that the issue is always with the battery itself, sometimes it happens that some hardware is not working properly or malfunctioned Due to which there is more voltage drop.

If there is an issue in the battery then you will get to see the changes in the laptop from the next day itself. And if the problem is something else then the situation will remain the same. You can tell them that if the problem continues, then I want replacement of the whole machine!
