Dark mode in this case may not be as helpful with saving battery life as Windows uses a shed of dark grey for it's "dark mode" rather than complete black like Twitter.It's certainly helpful in saving some battery especially with an OLED panel,but not much as it is wholly black.Although it definitely looks better than the default Light theme,and is much easier on your eyes especially at night.
Well there is another imp practice, u can limit your charging to 60 or 80% in every laptop brand. Do that , it will increase your battery life and u can use your laptop at constant charge too.

In my case I use both windows and ubuntu in dual boot, from what I observed windows offer better battery life unless you are using it in performance mode.

And honestly, 256gb in today's world fills up real fast, so other than the age and performance issues, there are plain simple space issues. One more imp thing is to avoid installing apps on the partition where windows is installed and put ur backup other than system drive. It has many advantages. First if we want we can format and remove all apps at one shot without uninstalling windows. Windows partition should be free enough for future upgrades and all. Plus if u change windows ur backup files will be still there
I got my first personal laptop a month ago. It is not new but it is my brother's used laptop. It is set up according to my brother. So I was quite confused about the changes. What should I do or not with it. So now my many doubts get clear. But still have some doubts. I want a video according to my problem. I mean in depth information about used laptop set up. This is for the first time you take it & completely own it. If it is now your laptop ... YOUR LAPTOP then Step 1: make a backup of all the data (copy existing data) from all drives including OS installed (C:\) for Windows OS and submit it to the seller/sender. Step 2: Perform a PC reset which is available in the settings or we can find many video for it to perform properly and then follow the current video. Since you said you are using it for a month and over then follow step 1 as I mentioned above and later uninstall all the unnecessary softwares that you do not use (read about them properly once and uninstall if file. Backup is must.). Perform disk fragmentation and disk cleanup on all drives. If possible, maintain 3 drives, 1 for OS 2nd for software installations and 3rd for data. Have at least 2 drives separating OS and data drives. Install softwares in non-OS drives for safety.
Btw, 90% of softwares in my laptop are not installed from Microsoft Store and I haven't shut down my Laptop for last few weeks. After seeing these GOOD habits, my friends usually say, YE LAPTOP SANKAT MEIN HAI.

I recently faced a problem with my laptop as it was not turning on, so the service guy came checked and told me he had to change the motherboard, I was not worried since the laptop was under warranty. 2 days later the service guy mentioned that my motherboard approval has been rejected since they found moisture in the motherboard which was not caused by me, it is a natural process even the service guy mentioned. Fast forward to date the company has been offering me a 25% discount on part replacement which roughly comes to around 45,000/. So please keep in mind while buying Asus products that if a nature problem occurs they won't be responsible for the product. My product had only been 1 year 11 months. No doubt the performance of laptop is great but service is really bad.
Rather than blaming the company we should take care of our things a little better. Is there a way for the company to find that the damage is environmental and not accidental?

1.Go to setting find metered connection option and turn it on 2. use USB tethering for data rather than wifi hotspot 3. Go to window store, open setting turn off app auto update 4. In setting, go to Windows update section the, Advanced setting, turn off delivery optimization. Also restart laptop after performing steps
There is a question from my side to you sir that..... when i update my laptop it has a fixed storage size result being when i do update on regular basis or when update comes then space are started decreasing so what to do when it got fulled the drive size ?
One best option is to enable hibernate mode (not for everyday use) on close or power button press. Any urgent work par jaana hein ya phir stressed out hein etc toh lid close/power button press (as per option emabled) karkay pc ko hibernate mode par rakhi saktey hein which is almost like shut down and 500 times better than sleep mode. But do not repeat the process for more than a week. Atleast 3 to 4 days agar pc ko on rakha toh shut down karnay ki try karna hein or na hua toh 1 time a week at least karna hi padega.
about antivirus - nothing controversial in your opinion, absolutely agree!! Remove all the stupid trials (mostly mcaffee) and stick to windows defender or get a proper solution like bitdefender or kaspersky. and btw, the taskbar cannot be relocated to any other edge of the display in windows 11.

But the fact with Windows Defender is that it will identify and block 99% of viruses, but only and only when you are online. In offline mode, the virus detection is like 40-45% because Windows Defender does not save all of the virus definitions locally. It only saves those virus definitions that are the most common. But when you are online, it uses both your local virus definitions and virus definitions saved on Microsoft's cloud servers. So please inform users about this as well. On D Rename as Program and should occupy about 35% of total drive space On e or f as available for data rename as data. This is to organise what to save , install and backup where Second most important Change location of default folders of downloads and documents and pics and music and video from default C to your created data partition. You system is now well organised at macro level, won’t slow down like regular setups as you are leaving C partition just for windows to work and have its buffer space.
I have Lenovo IdeaPad 330 With 2gb amd redeon graphics card it is 3 years old but literally works like a ne laptop even there is HDD not SSD fully satisfied.

i removed windows and installed ubuntu, which is: more secure, customisable , battery life is awesome, and such a light weight os , love it
i dont like ubuntu coz there is no pro apps and AAA games for ubuntu

One more tip: Don't login with a Microsoft Account if you don't require it. It slows down your system a lot.

Click on properties... And then set on metered connection...
Yeah metered connection will save so much data, very useful tip.
1.Go to setting find metered connection option and turn it on
2. use USB tethering for data rather than wifi hotspot
3. Go to window store, open setting turn off app auto update
4. In setting, go to Windows update section the, Advanced setting, turn off delivery optimization.
Also restart laptop after performing steps

One best option is to enable hibernate mode (not for everyday use) on close or power button press. Any urgent work par jaana hein ya phir stressed out hein etc toh lid close/power button press (as per option emabled) karkay pc ko hibernate mode par rakhi saktey hein which is almost like shut down and 500 times better than sleep mode.
But do not repeat the process for more than a week. Atleast 3 to 4 days agar pc ko on rakha toh shut down karnay ki try karna hein or na hua toh 1 time a week at least karna hi padega.
What will happen if we use hibernate often, please say in English

about antivirus - nothing controversial in your opinion, absolutely agree!! Remove all the stupid trials (mostly mcaffee) and stick to windows defender or get a proper solution like bitdefender or kaspersky.

Hello sir, android studio and intellij idea ke liye work ke liye Sabse sasta se achhq laptop long as hai jo upgradable ho RAM & SSD both under ₹40-50k
Split Drive in Windows, Program and Data.
Allocate 100 gb only for windows partitions. Better if it’s on SSD
Rename C as windows.
On D Rename as Program and should occupy about 35% of total drive space
On e or f as available for data rename as data.
This is to organise what to save , install and backup where
Second most important
Change location of default folders of downloads and documents and pics and music and video from default C to your created data partition.
You system is now well organised at macro level, won’t slow down like regular setups as you are leaving C partition just for windows to work and have its buffer space.
