Thanks Dee and Jay for another great video. Your channel is one of my favorites. I watch everyday. I really like how you all do a detailed tour of the ship and excursions. Dee, I loved the packing demonstration, it gave me a lot of new ideas.
We were on Meraviglia in February to March when you were on there. We were just on there again last week. They must have heard your suggestions. There were hardly any bar lines and they had waiters/waitresses everywhere around the pool and the bars. It was so much better. The buffet food still stinks. Keep up the great work. Love the positivity and the constructive criticisms.
Yes. I was on the MSC Meraviglia in October 2022 and had the same experience you had except our cabin steward was amazing and accommodating. The food was not good, rude staff, it took 5 hours to embark ugh….. Hopefully, they get it together because it is a beautiful ship.
We just got off Meraviglia a few days ago. We had been woried after seeing so many mixed and bad reviews of the ship. But we had a great time. The food in the MDR and the specialty restaurants was great (somethings inthe MDR could have been warmer but it wasn't that big a deal.) The service was very good especially our MDR waiters and one of the waiters in the TV lounge. It wasn't perfect by any means. I thought some of the things on their private island were mismanaged but all in all we were pleasantly surprised.
You are at least the 4th vloggers I’ve watched say the very same thing about this ship’s beauty, rude crew and subpar service. As one who does not have the ability to travel whenever I want due to a standard work schedule, I just can’t see wasting my limited time on it. Perhaps one day when a week won’t matter but not today.
How cool to catch your unpacking, carry-on edition Dee! Wow, I’m shocked how much you disliked that shower bath! I think it would be perfect for a family with littles for the bath part. Good to have your feedback!!❤
Just been on my 6th MSC cruise on the MSC Virtuosa and have to say the service has been the best so far. My last cruise on the Mervariglia, service was probably the worse on all my MSC cruises. You would think it would be more consistent but obviously not. Great vlog guys looking forward to your yatch club videos tempted to try

We've been on the Seaside, Seashore and the Meraviglia....and Meraviglia is our favorite as well. We were on her last March and only had probably like 1800 guests.
Wow… Impressed with the mozzarella bar… We were just on the Meraveglia in January… We must've missed that day… Although I remember going for lunch every day at the Buffet ... looks delicious… Thanks for sharing your experiences🚢

Thank you for the vlog. I just ordered the jewelry bag and some other items via your Amazon website. I know you have an upcoming HAL cruise. The last time we were on they had stroopwafel at the Grand Dutch bakery. I had one dipped in chocolate, WOW!!!😊
They had lemon ice cream when I was on board and it was the best I’ve ever had! Sorbet and icecream mix with lemon soooo goood and creamy ! 😢 was sad didn’t discover it till late in my cruise!
You mentioned the funny chairs. The whole ship reminds me of Joe Farcus on heavy sedation. I mean that in a good way. And yes Ossobuco was my favorite meal.
I would love to see more patching and unpacking videos. While I’m not too bad packing for myself, packing for my husband is a chore!! And there is no way he can pack for himself, the clothes would be a rumpled mess. 😢
Meraviglia sails out of NYC, which is the most convenient cruise port for me. However, given the recent reviews, including yours, I will not book with MSC until there is some improvement. I would rather spend more on other lines for a better experience.
How do you deal with laundry on a back to back? Do you opt for laundry service? Or do laundry at a hotel or home (Not sure if you live close by). Now on to the Yacht Club!!!!! YAY!!!!!! Love you guys!!!
For this trip, we packed for 7+ days and didn't need to do laundry onboard this ship. We went to Carnival Paradise after this, where we have free laundry service, and did our laundry there!! :D
Dee. I have those London Fog luggage, the identical ones..i have the big daddy, the carry on and the the “under seat” which holds a lot. Aren’t those 360 wheels best…so sturdy🚢😊
I use disposable shower caps from the dollar store to cover the the soles of my shoes, that way you don't get your clothes dirty from the bottom of your shoes
We are heading on a cruise of the Meraviglia in 2 weeks in a cabin two floors down from the cabin you are in. Were the beds as hard as I've been hearing? We are thinking of bringing a mattress topper with us and leaving it when we disembark.
Logistics question: do you pack extra clothes and leave them in the car for the back to back/side by sides? I don't see repeat outfits between cruises.
Nope not sure if you saw at the end of this video but I actually do a small talk on unpacking and what I brought. It's all about strategic packing. Mix and match clothes. Lighter material etc..
@@traceymccoyKC it depends have full you stuff it. Also they have 2 sizes. It fit under some seats and others it had to go in the overhead bin. So not a solid answer sorry.

I have to say that I was surprised that you really liked the cruise director because he seemed borderline rude and condescending in your videos to me. Glad you were able to have a good cruise and I hope your future ones are much better!
I think we were referring specifically to his hypnotist show, as we really only saw him introducing the main production shows otherwise. He did have that sort of dry humor from "across the pond" ha ha... but in sort of a deadpan delivery overall!! :P

Same experience i had. Customer service was inconsistent and quite a few of the crew members were rude.

We don't recall having any issues with the beds, but they can vary from cabin to cabin. You just never know!!

How are MSC prices compared to the other main Cruise lines?
Some of the lowest around, from what we've seen. They're really trying to compete in the American market by appealing to the wallet!! :P
