Love your videos and glad you corrected “silver gilded” to silver plated. Just one cringe moment: hundred years in the ground and smashed against your shovel to knock the dirt out within 5 seconds of digging it up!!!! Andy

Well, tapping the dirt out makes it easier to clean and I don’t do that with any relic I’m in any danger of damaging so thank you for your concern 🤓

That big round piece of lead reminds me of half of a capped bust half dollar I dug that was in a fire. Might have a counterfeit seated or capped.

It’s definitely some sort of counterfeit coin-just can’t see much detail :(

Sure does! I think the ball is a gear shift 1930s and made from marble type glass
