Honestly, I didn't know until I got the kit for the sizes of the bolts. I know you need some undercoat for metal and I used a satin black for the base. Plus for the various textured parts I used Truck Bed Liner black paint. Best to check the Ben of Kent and ask for specifics on there.

Ben of Kent! 600 for the backpack kit plus a Hasbro Spengler wand on top plus paint and other doodads. Probably 1000 all in.
