Cayo Santa María (Santa Maria Key) is the largest island in Cuba and is located in the splendid archipelago of the Cayerías del Norte It is the last of the wonderful cayos (keys) to which you can access the amazing Pedraplén, the road that crosses the waters of the Bahía de Buena Vista (Buena Vista Bay).
The Pedraplén of almost 50 kilometers, recognized at international level by its respect to the natural environment that frames it, connects Cayo Santa María with the island of Cuba, Cayo Ensenachos and Cayo Las Brujas. It is a unique route that you will feel as if you were floating over the sea on your way to the key. Cayo Santa María is connected to Cayo Ensenachos, and this in turn connects to Cayo Las Brujas.

Some of the pictures of Playa are not of that resort and some are very old.. its still a nice place to go

For me is the best Ibero 🌟 Playa Ensenachoes.

The Royalton used to be my favourite resort. I've been there seven times, however, it is now run down and needs new management. This used to be a very quiet resort but it has been re-vamped into a party place with loud pumping music everywhere. It's not even clean any more. I used to recommend the Royalton but it's now on my list of places to avoid at all costs. Stay away.

I went to Royalton Cancun 2 weeks before christmas in 2016 and the staff were selling cocaine to guests who were in the know. There is a huge drug trade going on in that hotel that people don't even know about.
