Honda Recon lifted on 28” Outlaws Walkaround

Heck of a quad you got. That thing looks like a beast. The PVC lift will be great for stiffening your suspension but that front suspension is maxed out. A arms dont go any lower and steering linkages are probably touching the top of the a arm sometimes like mine. With running the 28s the less fixable it is the better off your are. If you ever find a gear reduction kit keep us posted. I'm still looking for one lol. I've got 25x12x9 and 25x8x11 tires on my '98 recon. In thick mud about 15" deep I cant turn the tires. I'm got a aftermarket carb on. It did help some. 22mm to 27mm. Future mods will be jetting the carb, aftermarket cdi box to allow it to rev 1,000rpms more, and dual snorkels hopefully.

Did you ever have problems when you lifted it and put bigger tires on? I want to lift mine for mudding but i dont know if i will affect anything? Like the transmission or engine

I been think about getting a Honda Recon. Is there a 4-1/2" Lift kit out there for those tires ? Did you cut a hole in the bottom of the Air Box for the Snorkel ?
