The lesson is you have Thorns on your armor. Never have Thorns on even dealing with mobs and zombified villagers that you want to keep.
I think it’s only on my shoes bc I found a book that had prot 4 and thorns. But I was pretty far away? I thought thorns only affected close range stuff.
