Adam Smith James’ voice hasn’t quite aged as well as Chuck’s though. He’s starting to get it back in the last year or so. In the mid 80s, I would absolutely agree with you there that no one could match James but I think Chuck has him beat in the 21st century. The last three or four Testament albums alone have shown that. But to each his own.
I would say Megadeth has aged the best out of the Big 4 and Dystopia was such a badass record. Testament and Megadeth have aged the best out of the 80s thrash scene.
Every time I hear or see Testament I think of the late 80’s early 90’s when they played often at the old Channel in Boston and we would get there real early to catch there bus pull in and - greet the band as they walked to get something to eat - we would fight for the front row and I strongly remember touching Chuck’s shoes lol and feel like conquered the world- miss those days - Testament has and will be one of my favorite bands and still have never changed \m/. Love the new album.

I disagree. They've stuck to the sound that makes them good. They haven't sold out to produce crap like newer Metallica or Iron Maiden. I mean, even if 80s thrash is unoriginal, it sure beats listening to st anger by Metallica or Risk by Megadeth. Why fix what isn't broke
@@adamyeates2845 Like you, I'm sure, I've investigated for decades what's available musically. If it doesn't advance the artform, or include moments of magic, I haven't time for it. Practice and Souls had those elements in spades, none of the newer stuff does, bless their hearts.
