My apartment is nicer than this in United States and it’s $1260 a month. I don’t know where the overpriced status of things in comes from, but it’s very ridiculous. You can’t tell me apartment in cantonment is valued more than any place abroad.
It’s relative cos Cantonments is one of the hottest locations in Ghana. If you want a calmer price you can get a much nicer one around 400-500$ around Oyibi I bet you won’t get a decent 2BR apartment in central NY or LA at even 2K$
@@alfnkansahNYC and LA have housing deficits compared to population and the average income of NYC residents is $76k. Over half the population of the entire country of Ghana will never in their lifetime make that kind of money.
While I do acknowledge that it’s expensive, there are several contributing factors. The most important one being the cost of the project. We all know cost of doing business in Ghana is quite high. The same car you’ll pay $20k for in USA, you’ll probably pay $30k in Ghana and we know why. It’s the same with real estate. Chances are over 80% of the raw materials they used for the project were imported including some level of labor. Consider the cost and you’ll see where the price comes from.
I know right!!! Totally ridiculous. These developers are living on cloud Kooko land. People with this kind of money will build their own homes. And it's possible to find something far cheaper as someone has mentioned on this thread
@@frankbaiden5304 well that says a lot about the country’s leadership. The country have corrupt and incompetent leaders. Only in Ghana where business is done in different currencies but not their own.

That was my initial thought 🤦🏾♀️I live in Westminster, Colorado and most luxury apartment cost about $2,000 -2,400 depending on the season of the year. It’s a host mess🤦🏾♀️
This is my exact sentiment!!! They always want to talk about supply and demand!! As if there is more people wanting to live in cantonment than in Houston. Highly overpriced and it’s not even a nice looking apartment.
@@adwoaaddy - 🤣🤣🤣🤣 $3K USD per month for a developing country??? Is there public high speed rail transportation, closed sewer systems, sidewalks, etc etc??? Good luck with that!
$3000 is 46,770 gh cedis. The average Ghanaian makes 18 cedis an hr and about 700 cedis a month. About 75% of Ghanaians make less than 70 dollars a month. So adwoa who is this for?
Taking into consideration the location and the fact that the apartment is fully furnished with the amenities it offers, it’s for those who can afford such. I try to be very transparent in my content so I showcase luxury apartments and standard apartments as well. This property sold out in less than two months of completion. And a 1bedroom sold for $180k. I’m not saying it’s not expensive, but the developer has their target audience. I’m only here to show you the developments being put up here and I’ll definitely be posting more affordable ones❤️
You people are the part of reasons Gh currency is depreciating how can we live in a country transacting with another country currency make that make sense and you can't make this sh!!t up

Overpriced like Accra is not for the living cuz 2nd floor and that priceeeee..check such price in Houston
It's seriously insane how they price apartments in Ghana especially Accra

Not luxury, decor so basic, not one piece of art, and rooms tiny. Didn't hear any amenities mentioned.

At this rate Ghana is on the verge of housing bubble. These prices don’t make any economic sense.
Why always washing machine at the kitchen please
😂😂😂 I’m sure it’s to make good use of the space

In the UK, washing machines are in the kitchen. I know it's different in the US
Why is this considered luxury and for $3000 . Y'all are out of your damn minds over there in Ghana.
