3 years ago, I passed up on the opportunity to own one of those Signature units due to the environment. Looks so beautiful from a drone's view, get closer, and you'd be disappointed. Fitting and mechanic shops and squatters all over the place. The road leading to the building is untarred. Most Ghanaians can't afford properties in these areas. If diasporans are your primary target market, then they(we) deserve better.
@@yawbiso it's worth the price due to location. Real estate is priced with future potential in mind. But for diasporans paying cash for these properties, we look beyond the location
It's extortion. If 120k can buy you an apartment in the west with nice roads etc it makes no sense for this kind or pricing when the other area surrounding it is not luxury at all. People are being robbed in plain sight in Ghana these property developers are laughing at the buyers.
I had a Dream of this Building before I written it down in my Dream Journal, I saw the Verandas, where they have an open space & the entry glass door. however, I have no desire of living in Ghana, anyway the women I met from Ghana, they ALWAYS greet me with a wonderful,
I've actually booked a studio in this building before. This is overhyped. I dont think it works as an investment property. Occupancy while I booked was low. Infrastructure around the Signature was poor. Dusty roads plus portholes. The apartment I booked was filthy and unhygienic. Pool and open area was extremely hot. There was lack of greenery or a garden space. Supermarket within the Signature unneccesarily expensive. If you are in town for business/pleasure, why book the Signature when you can get solid four star hotels at a similar price point or for $40 more? At least with that you can guarantee some level of cleanliness plus there is breakfast inclusive. If you have $120K, look for a half plot in a prime location and build. That would be worth much more in the long run.
So basically you get a hotel room for 120K . As for them managing the complex and the apartment I bet the fees will be around what one gets in rental income.

Is everyone expecting it to be cheap because it’s Ghana? Firstly, you had to take into consideration the location, services included and it’s fully furnished. Where are you getting a comparable property for a better price in the UK, Ghana, Or even USA?
Real estate in Ghana is gonna collapse very soon with this outrageous Numbers being pronounced. How much are houses worth in Dubai, US, Europe and even South Africa whose economy is stable and growing while small Ghana with 60% inflation rate every year is trying to compete.(Laughable 😅) Imagine buying a house worth 350k in 2024 and ten years later it depreciates. ⤵️
Mansion, 3 separate houses, 120000$ is a lot even in America, we are normalizing this attitude where people come into the country and inflate prices to make it look the same in the advanced countries.
Asthetically, these are cool and fascinating projects. I like the design and edifice used, but considering the low cost of labor and materials for building, along with the cost of living in Ghana, the land and houses are highly overpriced. These homes are beyond the financial reach of the average Ghanaian. The majority of these homes are owned by foreign-based Ghanaians or foreigners relocating to Ghana. Only a small number of Ghanaians living in Ghana can afford them. However, I like the development taking place in Ghana, except that it’s very costly. These prices are comparable to the median prices of homes in some US states.
Almost 200 million naira (Nigeria) … that insane even in a high brew area this price is still insane . The his is obviously a boutique apartment… AKA get ripped off 😅
The prices are a bit high. What is this marketed towards ? The diaspora if so that is fine. I think they should be looking at the median yearly salary in Ghana and also cater to that market
Rip off! I simply don’t understand Ghana and it’s costing. Yes it’s well furnished and the finishing is excellent but the price is unjustifiable. The space is way too small. In many developed countries you’ll get a bigger space, better amenities and infrastructure. Absolute waste of money.
6 months to pay off 100+k plot of land, and you have to build within 3-5 years otherwise they will find a way to take back the ownership of that land 💀😂

😂 $120k 🇺🇸 = £95k 🇬🇧. With £95k I can buy a 3-bed HOUSE in the UK, rent all the 3 rooms for about £650 /month each, get £1,950 /month (or £23,400 /year).
