Andy from AAR had the idea of dropping the foam insert into a hard case but I think that he forgot that it does not arrive with space for the scope. You do not want to remove the scope ever time that you pack it away. So I don't think that the dimensions of the delivery box are useful..
@@ytubesuxshite4497 The issue is not that you cannot cut the foam insert. The problem with Andy's idea is that there is no space in the insert to cut out an aperture for the scope. Unless you have managed to do that?
@@barnyhenderson7213 its very simple. Take a hard case, get you a can of spray foam, fill both sides and let it dry. Then get a knife and even out the foam, so that the case closes. At that point take out a real sharp knife and a sharpie marker. Trace the item you want on the foam with the marker. Carefully remove the foam from that area with the sharp knife....tada

In his video the OP was asking about the dimensions of the delivery box with the idea of simply taking the foam provided and dropping that into a hard case. That was an idea suggested on AAR but I was pointing out a falasy in that plan. Yes, everyone knows that you can take a different case with pick&pluck foam (or make up your own foam) and do it yourself.
Hi, my L2 is stuck in London. UPS are not very helpful and just tell me more info is needed before it can be released! They are unable to advise what that info is!! What is your experience in the delivery from Francisco in Spain ? I still have faith but £2400 spent on an air gun is a little worrying when actually getting it is in the hands of the gods. Hi, I'm currently in exactly the same position, L2 was despatched on 20th May, spent 2 weeks in a Spanish customs warehouse then came to the UK and has spent a week in a UK customs warehouse. Communication from Francisco has been ok but I'm told nothing can be done, it's due to Brexit rules which are backed up. I'm equally worried I'm +£2k down with nothing to show for it and no timescale for that to change.
@@paperballandpentube just to keep you updated ups contacted me and asked me to request that the sender requests an investigation to locate the lost package!!! They say this is because the last scan was on the 4th June. Do you have an update?
Hi, no update here, my last scan was the 3rd and have not been contacted, I chased Wolfiek group (although not sure their role) yesterday as it had been a week since any contact, they have not replied yet. Radio silence here sadly.
Hi, a few days ago the status of my order changed from 'delay' to 'held at a UPS secure facility' still no hint of a delivery date though. Any luck with yours?
It just spoils the experience, was happy to wait for it to be sent but once it's on it's way I am checking the UPS tracker every few hours, I just want it here now.
UPS are appalling. Tracking states my L2 has cleared customs and so far delivery day was June 9th, then changed to June 14th. I call their customer service and they tell me it’s still held in customs!! I ask them to explain why they show on tracking that it has cleared and have so far given me two failed delivery days. They can’t answer that one. Then tracking changes to ‘Receiver has requested re scheduled delivery! I call them again and they can’t answer that one either!!! Delivery seems to be in the lap of the gods.
@@paperballandpentube the Spanish side were fine, they called me to explain that I needed to complete a form. They emailed it straight away, I completed it and sent it back, the package then cleared the govt agency in Barcelona. The form was basically a declaration that it was an air gun sub12. Package gets to the UK and then a grinding halt with UPS appearing to not have a clue when it will be delivered.
Clean the barrel, get your air tank topped up to 300 Bar, buy lots of JSB's and have fun.
Good luck finding JSBs.
