WHO AM I:
I’m Ben, a structural engineer. I make videos about tech, engineering, productivity and self-development. On this channel I hope to provide entertainment, advice and knowledge for aspiring and young students and professionals.
The funny this is that because I had such a bad first semester of college, I've been researching & formulating various studying techniques to help me improve in the future, & when it's finalized I plan to publish it as a book. This video came in clutch.
Glad it helped! :)
I really appreciate these videos. Because there aren't many informative videos like these for civil engineering majors.
I hope you don't get discouraged from the lack of views. It's low because it's hard to find you. But keep making these gems, and I'm sure your channel will pop off!!
Hey. I just want to let you know that I started my Civil Engineering bachelor's this year here in Australia @RMIT and your videos really resonate with me and is really helping me out and I really appreciate your efforts. Cheers mate
No worries! I’m glad to hear that you are enjoying them :)
Very informative video Ben. I wish i got these points before I was working. Thanks again mate.
Internship definitely helped a lot during your uni year. Theres a lot of things that are not covered during lectures but become a necessity when you are working on the field. Moreover, the materials you got during your internship can be a great resource for your univ assignment if and when needed. Overal internships gave you a wide understanding of what the industry needed and allowed you to prepare.
Thank you Ben,
I have also made same mistakes in my college time thanks for making me realise it.
Right now I am doing personal projects and your video make lot of sense to me.

I have a question : how to find my own personal project and where to be started? It should be a structural engineering project ? Thank you so much !
Same question. Can I ask any update, if you have made any personal project?
Hi Ben
How do you become a structural engineer in Australia? How do you get chartership or professional membership?
Education wise, a 4 year bachelor of engineering degree is typically required to get a job. Chartership is handled through Engineers Australia and you need minimum 5 years experience to apply. Lots of information on the Engineers Australia website
@@BEngHielscher Thank you for your prompt response. 🙏
