She needed 'me time'. She obviously missed the memo about parenting meaning making sacrifices and putting your child first especially while they are so young. I really don't know how she would have coped if she had had two children to look after at the same time. The only 'me time' I remember getting was when my babies were both asleep and even then I had plenty of jobs around the house to do.

@ Same, and I think it is BS that the daughter blames police for not telling her they considered charging the mother the first time she caused the death of a child. For goodness sake, she knew her mother had been neglectful when she should have been closely supervising the child. That should have been enough to tell her her mother was incapable of childcare. What was she thinking? 'The police didn't charge my mother over my baby's death so it couldn't have been her fault that he died'??

1st of November is All Souls Day. A day many religious faiths believe to be a day when the deceased can communicate with the living. There’s a lot more going on here behind these two “accidents”. She, Tracey Nix,considers herself to be devout and religious. I believe this daughter had the two deceased children outside of wedlock and only recently married their father. There’s alot of darkness to unpack here. A lot going on here much much more than we will ever know.

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, it's horrendous. But yeah, what is it with Mum & Sister, I can't put my finger on it, it just gives weird vibes. Don't even get me started on Granny, 2 grand-children, deceased. Who forgets they've got their loved one in the car? Who doesn't make sure house/doors/kitchen/fires/stairs/windows and more are secure before taking a quick nap? I've done it myself, baby not slept all night, I was knackered, I took a 20min nap BUT....I had safety gates, an alarm to wake me up & my baby wasn't crawling stage, he was fast asleep in crib SAFE. Ezra was 16mths old, they are into everything at that age & need watching...***Sorry ladies, I've typed another essay, but this makes me so mad.

The audacity to not plead guilty. It's the only thing she could ever offer, in exchange for the results of her disgusting actions with 2 kids...as a mother to the mother of those kids. Wtf.

I really don't know the correct terminology I should use, without offending anyone (obviously it's not intentional offence) This is such a hard case. One time, you'd potentially "forgive" your Mum about Ezra. .Obviously you love your parents & trust them, and accidents can happen. But falling asleep whilst babysitting, is always going to cause issues, unless you KNOW someone else is with you, and/or child is napping safely in their crib, pushchair or car seat (personally, I always removed car seat & bought it inside & let my sons sleep for 20mins or so then transfer to crib, or wake them up. At walking/crawling age I also had safety gates. Ezra's death was bad enough & must have caused "issues" within the family relating to trust. But, his parents clearly forgave Grandma. NOW a 2nd DEATH, this time, Uri was left in the car, no windows open, hot day & "forgot" about. WHO forgets they have their loved one/child in their care???? Yes I know we're all different, but my parents were ALWAYS super vigilant when babysitting, some may say over protective, but its better safe than sorry, as my Nan used to say. Why didn't Mum ring/text Grandma to check Uri was ok? I'm not pushing blame, I'm just saying, especially after 1st time with Ezra, and don't majority of parents check in with babysitter anyway?, regardless of whether they are family or not? I always checked in with my parents hourly (again, some may say over protective) TWO GRANDCHILDREN in her care, she lost both. These children, bless them, died, needlessly, due to negligence.
**Sorry for essay, I really didn't know how to word it without being blunt. I was trying to word it in a calm way, especially as 2 tots lost their lives.

What is going on with this family? At first I was so heartbroken for all of them but hearing about how the first child died in this grandmother’s care and how different were statements of both grandparents, I think something suspicious is happening there. If you read both Grandfather and Grabdmother’s statements you will see how they both give different stories.
And now not even a year after that tragedy yet another child dies in her care? And with all due respect, why the only people showing any serious emotions were the police officer and the sister?! What is going on? This is the most insane story of so called neglect I have ever heard.
Trying my best not to judge the parents, but darn it, I cannot help myself here 😩🙈. They already have yet another baby, I sincerely hope they will be more cautious with their babysitting choices.
Rest in peace both babies 😩🙏🏻.

    Seriously?

I wouldn’t be surprised if she kept having the grandma babysit, even after the death of her previous child, because she just really didn’t want to lose that free childcare. She just want some “me time” that bad. I’ve seen it too often how people will take advantage of their relatives to get free childcare.
My ex-stepmom-in-law would make her adopted daughter look after her kids, even skip school, just so she didn’t have to do it. Got to the point that the daughter had to get her GED instead of graduating with the rest of her classmates.

There’s a lot of cases like this. And i can attest it can happen to everyone. There should be an alarm now that cars should put if something is still in the seat. When the main driver turns off the engine. And something is still in the car. Or
Government should change the law. Let baby seats be put in front of the passenger seat. I think the probability that you will forget your baby at the back is greater than having a car accident.
