The husbands fault, the parents fault or the person who did it's fault?
How do you know the husbands mental state?
It just seems off in general. As in two children dying under her care. The parents allowed it.

In another video mother said she called the Grandmother unexpectedly to ask her to watch the little girl that day. And then the guilt and trauma she dealt with after that death as well, makes me wonder if she truly was having issues with her memory.

Dementia can start young. Sometimes family don't put the signs together quickly. Also it was not the grandmother's usual routine to look after the child. I think she completely forgot. Parents have done this too, like when it's not the normal routine and they are thinking about work. Some have forgotten the whole day and gone to fetch the child from daycare at the end of the day when the child has been in the car all day. Studies have proved your brain can just forget even when you love your child.

I don’t think you should ask your parents or grandparents to babysit ever, especially an infant or toddler. As you age you cognitive functions and memory decline. It was obvious that Ms Nix had issues, and it seems the entire family ignored it. Even Rebecca was gonna let her son go shopping with grandma the day they found Uriel deceased. I would not have let my child get in a car with my mother , after the first drowning incident.
Kayla Nix , should be prosecuted as well. Why would you leave your second baby with you mom after knowing she was not trustworthy. The entire family seems to have issues.

Young adults have a tendency to "use" their parents (the kids grandparents) as free daycare. It's as if they think their parents don't have lives of their own. But that's a separate problem. The problem here is the grandmother said "yes" to babysitting and a tragedy occurred. Now she must be held accountable for her neglect of the baby.

A 7 month old could not wander off like her older brother did when he drowned in a pond in the same grandmother’s care. Uriel was only supposed to be in Tracey’s care for a couple hours before baby’s father picked her up about 4:30 pm.

Sounds to me this grandma Tracy, babysits way too much. I’m 66 and can say it’s a lot harder to sit an infant at this age. The daughter is the negligent one. Tracy is a people pleaser. Tracys daughter is bitter and wants someone to pay for the death of her baby and Tracy’s daughter isn’t going to take any responsibility for her negligent roll in this.

It certainly isn’t a 65 year old woman’s place to watch a newborn or a toddler. I certainly wouldn’t leave my child in the care of my mom or granny , when he was small. I was a social worker, and I’ve seen so many kids , in the care of their grandparents, it’s sad. People need to take care of their own children, and put their children’s first and foremost. I think the mother of Uriel and Ezra is as much or more responsible for their death than Grandma.
