I'm just finishing up my old printing of volume two. I got a nice deal on the DH versions of the book a couple weeks ago and reading it for the first time. I really like this stuff although the older book has some binding issues but nothing that a little glue can't fix.
Happy New Years Omar and all fellow collectors, I did read Vol 1 this past weekend (on Omar's recommendation) and it was a fun read - and looking forward to reading vol 2 soon.
I just saw these on ebay go for $85.00...and for some reason wondered if they were being reprinted since they usually go for a lot. Guess Omar answered my question.
Got them 2 days ago and got to them like a small kid on cake, loving vol 1 got hooked and man his backstory wow. Loving this thank you for your recommendation omar!

I decided go pull the trigger on both of these as I still own the complete series on paperback albeit the books are smaller but these oversized editions are beautiful..!!.. just finished volume 1 and it was better than the last five marvel films..so glad I upgraded..cheers Omar..!!
@@shengcer I thought I saw Gideon falls this size aswell, guess not all. But I know all of Rick remenders stuff 100% is this size like the titles of listed above.
@@publicenemygelo6204 yeah it’s just annoying to me personally since I prefer all books on my shelf have the same size. I have east of west dlx and Lazarus dlx and they are both standard omnibus size, and I just took it for granted it applies to all image dlx.
@@shengcer yeah I feel you, for some reason image gives Rick special treatment and let’s all his books be published in this size. I’m planning on collecting all image deluxe editions and I’ll just give Rick his own shelf like Omar has 😂. I guess you can do the same.
I got the DCBA exclusive and they use the old Darkhorse covers. I didn't buy them the first time they came out because I own all the issues, bought them as they came out. But now in days I'm collecting Omnis, Absolutes and big books to have my dream library, so I happily purchased them.
Mine came in the mail a couple days ago and I can not put them down. Great recommendation as always Omar. My only question is book 1 says it contains 1-15 and book 2 has 17-32 so where’s 16 or is that just a misprint on the back of the book?
The numbering for this series gets a little weird. Issue 16 is a one shot called Tales of the Fear Agent which is included in volume 1. It is missing one story (R & R) in the new printing. It's just a backup story by another writer.
I ordered volume 1 when it came it and never sold it were it was going for $400. I just ordered my first Volume 2! I’m glad you confirmed I was to do it.
I would say Dark Horse in general does thicker paper on their library editions, even in 2023. With Marvel you can make an argument about it being 2012 printing and being thicker, but Dark Horse has been very consistent with their paper throughout the decade+.
Don't know if you're still interested but no, it's nothing to worry about. It's just a small unrelated adventure with no consequences of any kind, by a different writer and artist. It is not anything special nor very good in my opinion.
I had the original dark horse vol 1 but could never find volume 2 so I bought the dcbs cover for vol 2.....man Im pretty annoyed the size is just slightly off....it may drive me completely crazy.

Got the DH copies of these immediately after reading Remender’s X-Force. I was not disappointed.
I need to get my copies from UPS tomorrow and reread it again, this time in a larger format. These covers are really cool, but I prefer Moore's.

Didn’t quite expect these deluxe come in the absolute size.
All image deluxe editions especially Rick remenders deluxe editions come like this… deadly class, Seven to eternity, low, and black science.

Remender HC books are absolute sized, I think that's one of his demands from his publisher IIRC.
