The video was good and really informative but I’m begging you to please not add or increase the volume on the eating sounds. I know I’m just one viewer but those sounds make me sick to my stomach, especially when it’s right in my ear and comes out of nowhere.
A lil feedback: - Usually I'm unbothered by eating sounds, but they're overbearing in this video to the point of being offputting. - I understand the off-the-cuff style so you can express how it feels to eat the food as you're in the act of eating them, but talking with your mouth full and the lip smacking noises add to the offputting feeling. I also feel you work better reading from a script, one reason being you tend to contradict yourself less when doing so. - Since this is about food, perhaps researching into food and nutrition would be a good idea. You mention 'organic' as if that'd be healthier - and while my own knowledge is limited here - that isn't inherently true. Iirc there isn't much benefit from organically grown produce than non-organic produce. - I feel like the sound effects are too loud, but also too frequent. It takes away from the video a lot, feeling much more overly processed to keep viewer retention than a genuine review.

Meal kits and lunchly/Lunchables type products will forever be an "American" product. It's not a type of product that you'll see in Europe or Asia because it's expected for kids to be served lunch to them at the school cafeteria, and regulations also being strict.
I mean, here in Poland (unless something changed in the last 8 years since I graduated high school) very rarely you have cafeterias in schools (in preschool yeah, but since elementary school, you're expected to bring your own food or buy something in the store inside the school), everyone just brings prepacked lunch which is usually sandwiches, like I learned to piece together the most standard "bread + butter + slice of cheese + slice of deli meat / ham" kinda sandwich at like 7, but most of the time in elementary school I had the 7Days croissants cos I always had a tendency to starve myself in school cos I really don't feel like eating under stress (and school really stressed me out), so I had to be incentivized, lol, and a chocolate-filled croissant is obviously way more appealing to a kid than a basic dry-ass sandwich, by high school I learned to make more elaborate foods and I really fell in love with simple temaki sushi (it was also my standard meal in uni, I became vegan then and started making a vegan version which I honestly like even more + less "fishy" aroma to gross people out, lol) I guess Lunchly/Lunchables is comparable to the basic shitty kinda sandwich most Polish kids ate (not even kids like this, it's just parents being burned out, lol; tho I guess the sandwich is a little healthier cos bread (even the basic white one), cheese and deli / ham slices are all very basic and don't include crazy chemicals - not claiming we don't have trash foods or that Americans don't have proper food, but my mom scolds the adult me whenever I buy American-style bread and will refuse to eat it even if that's the only bread we have at home, she'll act as if there's no bread cos it's not even an option for her, lol, same with American cheese (I don't buy it obviously as a vegan, but I've heard it a lot in childhood, lol), she'd call it "plastic cheese" - I made my research and the basic versions aren't really bad, but it's also true our "American bread" and actual American "[American] bread" are still very different, like the one I bought recently is about half wholemeal flour, half regular, oil, salt, some sugar and like ascorbic acid or whatever, the ingredient list is still fairly simple, while the actual American ones are crazy long - it may be the case that all the "chemicals" are just vitamins cos Americans seem to fortify everything while here we only fortify cereal and like plant milk, so idk, maybe a good thing, I haven't done my research, just repeating a common opinion, lol), tho it just doesn't seem exciting, I don't get the phenomenon cos it feels like the kinda slop you eat out of necessity, how is a cracker with some tomato sauce and processed cheese supposed to be exciting is beyond me, lol, but marketing does weird things to kids (I used to thing cereal is the bomb, but now it tastes like bread / wheat with lots of sugar and maybe like cocoa… which is accurate, lol) one thing I'm concerned about is… how is like 7 crackers with a bit of cheese and maybe a slice of ultra-processed meat a lunch? that's just… not filling at all - idk, maybe kids really don't need that many calories, maybe American food is more calorie dense or something, but I remember needing like 2-3 sandwiches or croissants when I started school and I was a skinny kid who didn't like to eat at school
because you mentioned the feastables chocolate having the same amount of sugar as other chocolate fun fact if you didn't know when making this I guess, it did used to actually be healthier but it didn't taste very good so even before Lunchly Jimmy changed the recipe to be almost identical to hersheys

I hate the Paul bros and Prime but I haven't seen anything saying there's a dangerous amount of lead in it. Some supplements, vitamins and food contain lead naturally.. it's a drink with supplements, so that's expected. As a european, Im always shocked at how processed american food is, Lunchly or Lunchables would never get through to europe because of our regulations😂
I can say right now lunchables were not a common thing here in America. Yes a lot of kids wanted them, because of predatory marketing campaigns, but in reality it was too expensive for lower class families that couldn’t easily prepare food, not good enough for any parent that was trying to manage what their kid eats, and wasn’t even an option for those that utilized school food systems/hot lunches. Really only a small selection of kids would ever actually get a lunchables at any real time. Maybe as a treat, or special item would a kid get one, but for average lunch use they weren’t a thing. Again it was mostly just predatory marketing that got the name in everyone’s mouth. Honestly the real problem with American school lunches is the fact that so many kids go hungry here due to a culture war being played out in the budgeting where republican politicians and lawmakers desperately want to paint feeding kids as the single worst thing tax payer money could go towards which itself is wrapped in a horribly classist mentality of “anyone can just not be poor if they tried hard enough.” It’s really shitty, especially since what legislation we have put through in the past few decades has been getting cut out by republicans.
On the turkey being wet, that's pretty common among cheep lunch meats. Don't know why but sandwich meats are always stored moist, if I had to guess it's so they don't dry out
Hey buddy, try to make those chewing noises and sound effect less loud please ! It’s a way better video than the one with the candies The vacuum cleaner sound effect literally made me jump I wasn’t prepared
I just don't understand why "Lunchy Product" hasn't been sued yet. It is shown to be a more dangerous snack for children and not to mention the amount of mold people have found in their cheese is a huge health concern.
people dont complain about grog being unhealthy because its alcohol. everyone knows alcohol is unhealthy, the problem with lunchly is that it advertises itself as healthier than lunchables even though its still not healthy at all for children
i love this person’s videos, but that moist bag mouth plus the loud chewing made it harder to enjoy. i’ll be waiting for the next video and hope he reads the comments !
I think your statement about Lunchly being the same as other youtuber products in terms of unhealthiness wasn't very put together. Grog and Gamersupps are marketed towards an older audience. Especially Grog because its 18+ or 21+ for most people. Lunchly is directly marketed to children under the age of 13, which is very disengenuous, especially becasuse these children don't understand health.
I appreciate you taking the feedback from the Ryan Treyhan video. This video is wayy better because you don't have those annoying loud sound effects every two seconds.
Wanted to watch this episode really badly, but the food sound effects made me turn off the video. I know you won’t see this, but please, reduce the amount of chewing, licking, and other such sound effect noises. I’m begging

LOL pink sauce. thats always in stock at my local Grocery Outlet: a store that buys overstock from other stores and sells it at steep discounts. They also always have prime LOL
24:25 the differences were most of them not claiming the product they making to be healthy or healthier, not all are available widely on store shelf, and intendedly not marketing it toward only kid audiences. Even if Mr.Beast, Ksi, and Logan are clean, the way they doing it is what get them into hot water, not their controversy.
All I can say, is that it's not nostalgia to say that lunchables was better in the late 90's and early 2000's. Shit is not the same, I've had the displeasure of trying one to see if they hold up and they do not
Maybe do a jump cut when you eat or drink something. If it helps, maybe have the camera pointed downwards so your face isn't displayed, that way you don't have to worry about the bag. I understand you wish to remain anonymous and that's cool but perhaps try another approach?
While I gave my mom a hard time about not buying lunchables for me to bring to school, I’m glad I never got to eat it considering how processed and full of lead it is. Except like twice only because she was sick and didn’t feel like making food for me to bring to school.

Yeah it left me thinking for a moment "is it just supposed to be like that?" Like, I also prefer it if it doesn't leave a snail trail but it's generally not terrible.
@@spinosaurusstriker at least in the states there's a glut of very average/mid quality lunch meat sold in stores that either just is slimy from the outset, or when it's a bit old but not old enough to throw out

Lunchables used to have a generic chocolate bar, an ingot of chocolate like Feastables, was my favourite candy growing up and you could only get it there 😂
First of all: I really enjoyed the video. I specifically liked the top down perspective for the final product review. You gave some top down shots throughout the first two. I personally thought that was nice. Perhaps the paper bag is iconic, but for a food review watching you stumble around took away from the experience. Secondly, I’m not trying to be mean, but do you eat sliced meat? You acted like those little turkey circles were cursed or something. I’ve never made a ham or turkey sandwich where the mean wasn’t moist. Is it a bit rubbery? Yeah, but it’s sliced meat not prosciutto. The theatrics on that were too over the top. Maybe they were genuine, but they just threw me off.
I eat some sliced meat, and I have never experienced it being slippery, maybe it's a regional difference since I'm from Europe? I would never eat meat that was slippery, it would suck sensory wise.

We gotta stop fear mongering about "processed foods." Something being processed doesn't make it worse for you, and a lot of the "scary ingredients" are perfectly safe. The dose is what makes something bad for you.
two things: 1. it wasn’t as well known, but I remember watching an expose on ghost kitchens and learning that Mr Beast Burger was just Yet Another Ghost Kitchen Product, which means it was essentially just reselling a white label burger on food delivery apps. it was so milquetoast and low effort that it was just kind of embarrassing. not like, problematic or really particularly morally dubious. just… felt a little disingenuous for him to treat it like something it wasn’t. 2. Mr Beast has had his reputation in question basically since his channel’s inception. he was already considered problematic for the grossly wasteful style of video he does, and the way he constantly one-upped his videos literally spending near everything he earned on wasting more money on even more grossly wasteful content in an unending cycle. controversies only exacerbated and brought to light what more niche circles like breadtube have been discussing for a long, long time. which idk maybe that’s what you meant anyway.
The first one I can kind of agree to be honest but he did lawsuit them People are always kind of skeptical these days Mrbeast is usually in this and he will never do anything wrong to be honest A bit of hate but I can understand your point
Also Juicy of the TH-cam channel The Boys has done multiple videos on Mr Beastburger, all from different locations, there is so much bad about those places, ever wanted a Medium Raw Smash Burger with fuzzy Pickles side of fries that are all stuck together, 5 bucks for a microwaved grilled cheese, and a regular old Pepsi that I want please don't institutionalize me! it is pretty funny that the two biggest selling points are the two worst things about the Lunchly ... the turkey Lunchable looks straight up depressing
I always get super sick when the tasting back gets dirty and you still eat stuff through it. I need to look away if I want to make it to the end of the video.
Yeah, I bought a ham & cheese Lunchable a year or so ago out of nostalgia, and I was honestly a little shocked that it tasted *exactly* like I remembered. No problems with the meat. Just low-grade sandwich ham.
I’ve gotten food poisoning 3 times from pepperoni pizza lunchables. Once when I was in high school, second time when I was in college and a third time years later while I was at work. At this point I feel like that snack is trying to end me and I just stay away from it.
This is just a small suggestion of mine, but I think it's better to just cut a rectangle all the way to the bottom instead of a hole for the tasting bag. Idk it just feels a bit gross to me for some reason (probably the messy bag slathered with sauces), plus it would make it easier for you to taste food

I got through the video, but yeah, I also agree, seems there are quite a few who agree with this sentiment as well

yeah, i agree :( its so hard to listen to tbh
A lil feedback:
- Usually I'm unbothered by eating sounds, but they're overbearing in this video to the point of being offputting.

It's not a type of product that you'll see in Europe or Asia because it's expected for kids to be served lunch to them at the school cafeteria, and regulations also being strict.
they're called lunchly and lunchables cuz they're just pocket school lunch aka inedible slop
Lunchables or similar are sold in England but I don't think they're as popular here
We hate pre cooked food and given how cafetarias have a bad rep because of that this won't eve make this way in Europe due to how similar it is.
I mean, here in Poland (unless something changed in the last 8 years since I graduated high school) very rarely you have cafeterias in schools (in preschool yeah, but since elementary school, you're expected to bring your own food or buy something in the store inside the school), everyone just brings prepacked lunch which is usually sandwiches, like I learned to piece together the most standard "bread + butter + slice of cheese + slice of deli meat / ham" kinda sandwich at like 7, but most of the time in elementary school I had the 7Days croissants cos I always had a tendency to starve myself in school cos I really don't feel like eating under stress (and school really stressed me out), so I had to be incentivized, lol, and a chocolate-filled croissant is obviously way more appealing to a kid than a basic dry-ass sandwich, by high school I learned to make more elaborate foods and I really fell in love with simple temaki sushi (it was also my standard meal in uni, I became vegan then and started making a vegan version which I honestly like even more + less "fishy" aroma to gross people out, lol)
I guess Lunchly/Lunchables is comparable to the basic shitty kinda sandwich most Polish kids ate (not even kids like this, it's just parents being burned out, lol; tho I guess the sandwich is a little healthier cos bread (even the basic white one), cheese and deli / ham slices are all very basic and don't include crazy chemicals - not claiming we don't have trash foods or that Americans don't have proper food, but my mom scolds the adult me whenever I buy American-style bread and will refuse to eat it even if that's the only bread we have at home, she'll act as if there's no bread cos it's not even an option for her, lol, same with American cheese (I don't buy it obviously as a vegan, but I've heard it a lot in childhood, lol), she'd call it "plastic cheese" - I made my research and the basic versions aren't really bad, but it's also true our "American bread" and actual American "[American] bread" are still very different, like the one I bought recently is about half wholemeal flour, half regular, oil, salt, some sugar and like ascorbic acid or whatever, the ingredient list is still fairly simple, while the actual American ones are crazy long - it may be the case that all the "chemicals" are just vitamins cos Americans seem to fortify everything while here we only fortify cereal and like plant milk, so idk, maybe a good thing, I haven't done my research, just repeating a common opinion, lol), tho it just doesn't seem exciting, I don't get the phenomenon cos it feels like the kinda slop you eat out of necessity, how is a cracker with some tomato sauce and processed cheese supposed to be exciting is beyond me, lol, but marketing does weird things to kids (I used to thing cereal is the bomb, but now it tastes like bread / wheat with lots of sugar and maybe like cocoa… which is accurate, lol)
one thing I'm concerned about is… how is like 7 crackers with a bit of cheese and maybe a slice of ultra-processed meat a lunch? that's just… not filling at all - idk, maybe kids really don't need that many calories, maybe American food is more calorie dense or something, but I remember needing like 2-3 sandwiches or croissants when I started school and I was a skinny kid who didn't like to eat at school
Yeah yeah, we get it, everyone’s better than us, quit rubbing it in /j
because you mentioned the feastables chocolate having the same amount of sugar as other chocolate fun fact if you didn't know when making this I guess, it did used to actually be healthier but it didn't taste very good so even before Lunchly Jimmy changed the recipe to be almost identical to hersheys

But Luncables already has
@nickrustyson8124 which country? Ive never seen it mentioned im surprised
i like my fanta glowing bruh

We gotta stop fear mongering about "processed foods." Something being processed doesn't make it worse for you, and a lot of the "scary ingredients" are perfectly safe. The dose is what makes something bad for you.
two things:
1. it wasn’t as well known, but I remember watching an expose on ghost kitchens and learning that Mr Beast Burger was just Yet Another Ghost Kitchen Product, which means it was essentially just reselling a white label burger on food delivery apps. it was so milquetoast and low effort that it was just kind of embarrassing. not like, problematic or really particularly morally dubious. just… felt a little disingenuous for him to treat it like something it wasn’t.
