Great video, very informative! I have a SkyMax Expedition with a Helix 130, and an Aviator Limitless with a Helix 140. I definitely notice the extra thrust of the 140, but the Limitless weighs 13lbs more than my SkyMax which makes takeoffs and landings rougher... I'd say they kinda break even, but I'm very interested in the new MacFly's, especially since they're so light!!

Hey Gabriel, glad to see you're still flying. One funny thing looking back at this vid, soon after I'd posted it, John sold his MacFly to free up some cash to buy inventory in an opportunity to become a Nirvana F-light dealer. He swore to me that the F-light had way more thrust than the MacFly. In your best Long Island accent, "dat thing will push your face inta the ground". I never wavered. Just continued to rack up the hours on my P.A.P. Tinox. Eventually he crossed paths with London's thrust table again and found his perception was totally wrong. The F-light, for all of it's snorting and radical looks was right in the middle of the pack with all the other 130 cm platforms. I still fly the P.A.P. The thrust table is the PPG equivalent of the tackle box's Zebco De-Liar.

I'm convinced, my next frame will be a 1500 with a 140 prop.

Fun video! Ripman....love my e-props! You should try my OpenPPG with the 3-blade 140cm e-prop in Sport mode! Maybe this Spring in the Panhandle. Bill

What a nice pair you two make, Luvs. You play off each other like Abbott and Costello. The science flew over my head, but it's becoming a soothing and charming thing to see you two interact over your shared passions. 💋💋💋

I like it. Now can you get a reading from someone pushing a 125 on an Atom 80 as a point of reference? 😉

Nice video. I’ve been looking into Paramotors that can turn the bigger prop, and Pap and Macfly keep coming up, as does the 2x140cm prop for Moster plus. Cool to see you have one of each represented. I am 215 pounds so I’m looking for that extra thrust without a huge increase in paramotor weight that the bigger engines have.

So we learned that Rippa has the biggest thrust - and they say size doesn't matter.

    What about a 3 blade 140 e prop 😳

I can throw any prop on my moster 185 and still have more than enough thrust for my flying style. I have used wooden prop, Helix prop, and the prop from SkyHero China. All work just fine for me. There is also a counter argument to people hunting for more thrust. In the end, it means your motor is also working harder and wearing out quicker.

Any noticeable difference in noise using the bigger prop?

I believe the lower RPM making the same thrust is quieter.
