The PS2 version is a bit more distinct from the GameCube and Xbox versions because it was made by a different developer. It has different cutscenes, more features (like exploring the Hogwarts), some areas are different, etc. Just like the GBC, GBA, PS1, and PC versions, the PS2 version is technically a different game and thus, not considered a multi-platform release, but rather an exclusive since this version in particular wasn’t released for any other platform but if you’re looking for the absolute best version then this is the way to go. Otherwise, if you’re looking for the better version of the game made by Eurocom, then the GameCube version is the one to go for because it features a secret area that is unlocked by connecting to the GBA version. The secret area can still be accessed on the Xbox but you can only do so if you mess in the game’s files and some features do not work.

From what I've read online.
- Consoles are all different versions PS2 is lead platform and generally considered the best version on consoles.
- GC and Xbox are same version different from PS2.
- PC is its own game also a fan favorite.
- PS1 is basically 50% Sorcerer's Stone but repackaged as a new title Chamber of Secrets
- GBC is a turn based RPG and a fan favorite.
- Nobody seems to care about the GBA version.

La version de ps2 tuvo más tiempo de desarrollo que las otras aunque las otras tengan mejoras técnicas.
Se nota en muchos escenarios que en Xbox gamecube parecen más vacíos.
Aunque una de las desventajas de la versión de ps2 son los tiempos de carga.
