If you use anything that isnt smooth and round the bands will only last a few shots. Its cheaper to just buy clay practice ammo than have to replace bands constantly

Это уже нельзя назвать рогаткой.Скорее самострел.Раньше делали в детстве.Палка от хоккейной клюшки,деревянная бельевая прищепка и жёлтая резина купленная в аптеке.По сравнению с рогаткой этот самострел был как снайперская винтовка против пистолета.Можно было с первого раза во что угодно попасть.

Похожие самострелы делались когда то в советском детстве, но под V образный снаряд из проволоки. Короткие пистолетные модели работали исправно, лампочки в подъездах с 10 шагов били легко. А вот длинные винтовочные модели иногда страдали обратным забросом снаряда и поэтому от них в итоге отказались. Здесь при перекрутке жгута тоже есть вероятность подобного возврата снаряда.
Просто п образную шпонку делали и обратно она с винтовочного типа рогатки не прилетала. Я с 40 шагов в черенок от лопаты 10 из 10 попадал. Шампанское с 10 метров просто в пыль,правда стальную проволоку весь день в тисках гнул.

Что бы не прилетело в глаз! Делайте рагулю шире. Можно это усовершенствовать, до красивого дизайна! У меня уже идея, как сделать раздвижные рагули. Они должны быть металичискими. Дальше полёт вашей фантазии. 😉

Looks accurate. Just one problem. That laser is going to scare any animal off especially fowl. Try pointing a laser at a bird sometime and see what happens?
They cannot see if it if the laser is green. Green lasers have been used for woodchuck a grouse bed hunting at night for years. Even the red laser works. They only see it if it is pointed at an object near them, not on them. It's worthless during the day in bright sunlight because you can't see it.

but lacks the portability, when you go out buying something and the slingshot is in your pocket or sling bag, and you see some target to practice your accuracy on, you just rip it out and shoot, and when you go inside malls, you'll look like carrying a gun which may get you uneeded attention
I have one from another mfg, all same parts. I think a original wrist rocket slingshot works better. This is fun to pull out at a barbecue or something, but definitely not for legitimate hunting.
A couple things: 1. I would like to see it on a bipod/tripod for aim stability test. 2. That fishing reel is dragging down the speed of the arrow a little too much, perhaps either needs more weight on the arrow or find a reel with less friction or some other type of string delivery method.

A couple things: 1. I would like to see it on a bipod/tripod for aim stability test. 2. That fishing reel is dragging down the speed of the arrow a little too much, perhaps either needs more weight on the arrow or find a reel with less friction or some other type of string delivery method.

@@Slavyan55579 на показанном расстоянии обычная пристрелянная рогатка не хуже). в армии ,от нечего делать , лягушек били в прудах метров с 10-15, с 10 выстрелов -5 попаданий в среднем.
