It's actually kinda sad how the internet has ruined Undertale for streamers. Vinny would absolutely love the game, and especially Deltarune I think, but he might never play it because of how terrible the community can be during streams and playthroughs. It fits his sense of humor so well.

Ignoring the Undertale fans that would watch and then complain about Vinny's decisions, I think even the vinesauce community would get annoying. He would be playing it purely for the viewers regardless of what he wants to do, and I prefer when Vinny plays a game for himself and he enjoys it. Like this one.
Pretty sure the sound effect is just a generic RPG Maker asset. I haven’t played Changed but it’s familiar. The earlier sound effect he commented on is one I’ve only heard in OFF, but given how many sound effects RPG Maker comes with, it’s not surprising some of the stranger ones aren’t as commonly used
