some minor corrections relating to the concept only levels segment: -crashed ufo is in fact not related to deep dish nine at all, and actually was the original idea for space pinball. it is confounding to me that the wiki doesn't mention this fact, because you can easily find this factoid by watching the thing of the week videos. -the kitchen level being "readded to don't make a sound" is complete nonsense and i have no idea what the person who wrote that was on. we actually know what happened to the kitchen level, in fact: it was fused with golf! hence why that level is a burger restaurant in addition to being a minigolf course. -i'm like 93% sure the vigilante-exclusive doom level is a hoax, because: it has no source, it's not mentioned in any of the many complete listings of levels from various points in development, there's basically no info on it (even compared to most other concept only levels), and also just the plain old fact that it would be a really weird choice to have the special level for a cowboy character be doom inspired.

You've honestly been on fire with these Pizza Tower videos lately, so much interesting lore about the game's development! I personally wasn't even aware of the game's existence back when all of these playtester builds were being worked on so it's nice to see someone compile so much info on stuff from them in video form.
Some things I want to mention - The door being elevated in GOLF might be an issue about the sprite itself, but I don't know personally - City is broken in the first room because the instance layer (the one with all the objects per room) is toggled as invisible, making the game bug out. You can still see if you press pause however - The rooms for Top that crash do that due to the object that teleports you to a room using a room that doesn't exist anymore (Rooms for a lost Pizzaland level which has no playable form of in the files besides in City) so instead uses a variable in-place, which crashes because nothing is set for the variable to do anything - Good Eatin' was originally for the scrapped Kitchen level before being implemented into GOLF - The assets for Stickland were for a scrapped playable Mr. Stick, which was in the works in September 2023 and (possibly) scrapped around then for The Noise Update
14:35 here's a deeply interesting fact that i think not enough of the community knows: those rooms are copies of the first room except unfinished and with a circus background. when you check what the entrances in those rooms they send you to "circus_1 A" (which needless to say doesnt exist in either the rework build or the final game). This seems to imply pretty heavily that at some point between april and september circus was its own level but it got very shortly reworked into top.
*FUN* (farm) fact about grinch build and mansion: In the grinch race build people like *Unus3d guy* found a actual very WIP and early version of the mansion level (grinch build was made and launched in 2018 and the first time mansion was used in a build is in 2019, so the idea was made in the same year pizza tower started delevopment)

Ngl I like to consider The Early Levels, March 2019, Sage, Western B+F and April 2021 their own games entirely due to how different the levels and mechanics are from Pizza Tower from 2023. It even works lore wise if you believe that Sage 2019 comes after Pizza Tower and all of these old yet completed levels are apart of a in universe Pizza Tower Game (you can see a copy of Pizza Tower in oh shits trash pan as The Noise. Anyway if there were 2 unused levels that I wish were reworked and added to the final game I’d be Both Strongcold and Mansion (Strongcold on floor 4 after freezerador and Mansion on floor 5 before pizzascare) (both being hidden levels in the hub of each floor) With how much Pizzascare had a glow up from Sage to The Final game I can imagine a new remake Strongcold to be fun as hell keeping the vertical layout yet you go up and more gimmicks like ice slipping and even the Noise boss fight at the end can be reworked into whack a noise sections throughout the level And Mansion could also be a banger since I thought the Knight transformation was underutilized only appearing in Pizzascape Mansion could be a more advanced version of that plus the grindrails, the flaming haybales and the clown transformation and Grandpa pepper as a enemy too it sounds genuinely awesome. Besides both of these levels have unique treasures and all the assets are complete so it’s really about Turing them into great level layouts

heya in pizza tower rework there is bosses just they were in the files but you can put a command on the console just press F5, and also there 5 bosses, pepperman, vigilante, noise, MRSTICK?!, and pizzaface, yep mrstick was supposed to be a boss but it was discarded (im yapping about because im speaking facts for him)
Sorry to be that guy but the snicks challenge level appears in 2 builds. I dont know if it was leaked or was a patreon build but there were 2 builds for sage 2019 (v12 and v14). I believe that v12 had some incomplete mechanics, tiles, and a crash during snicks challenge (i dont know how to trigger that one).
April’s in the files of the game, and I covered it as the final part of the first section. Rework I decided not to cover, as I couldn’t find any info of it being in the files(?), and since it’s a main level it was pardoned anyways
I'm gonna be real, most of the cut levels were eh or bad, PT wasn't very good for a lot of its development. Some were even just straight up terrible like Space Pinball or The Top. But they weren't all bad. I'm still quite positive on Space Pinball and Dragon's Lair! They're pretty alright levels, especially for their time! I wish they got to be refined for the modern game's style when PT became PEAK. It's sad.
I feel a similar way about a lot of these levels, but when I look back on nearly every other level’s history, it’s clear that early PT was really just a different thing altogether. So even if some levels looked bad in the final builds they featured in, they could’ve very well have been made into something MUCH better by the time the game released if McPig wanted to stick with them. That’s part of what makes this game so interesting
@ yeah, I agree. PT was a different thing back then, it just wasn’t for me. Also in my eyes, April 2021 and Rework together are the worst 2 builds. It’s funny to me cause right after the worst build, rework, McPig immediately started making the game peak. And yeah, I agree. I mean almost every post floor 1 level in beta PT (mainly the 2 I’m talking about) are kinda yikes. But all those levels once so bad, for the most part became amazing. The Mr. Stick collectables in the game files aren't actually for Stickland, they're for the scrapped playable Mr. Stick update.
correction regarding stickland: those assets you showed in the vid that were related to stickland, as far as im aware are not. There's no proof for it being for stickland and I legit have no idea why they haven't been removed from that wiki page yet seeing as, well theres no proof those were for stickland.
i've edited that page to say that it is unknown if they are related or not. i decided to not move them elsewhere, as all of the sprites there are connected and it'd be weird to create a page just for those, like, it's possibly a coincidence that the money gimmick was reused

heya in pizza tower rework there is bosses just they were in the files but you can put a command on the console just press F5, and also there 5 bosses, pepperman, vigilante, noise, MRSTICK?!, and pizzaface, yep mrstick was supposed to be a boss but it was discarded (im yapping about because im speaking facts for him)
Sorry to be that guy but the snicks challenge level appears in 2 builds. I dont know if it was leaked or was a patreon build but there were 2 builds for sage 2019 (v12 and v14). I believe that v12 had some incomplete mechanics, tiles, and a crash during snicks challenge (i dont know how to trigger that one).

April’s in the files of the game, and I covered it as the final part of the first section. Rework I decided not to cover, as I couldn’t find any info of it being in the files(?), and since it’s a main level it was pardoned anyways

I'm gonna be real, most of the cut levels were eh or bad, PT wasn't very good for a lot of its development. Some were even just straight up terrible like Space Pinball or The Top. But they weren't all bad. I'm still quite positive on Space Pinball and Dragon's Lair! They're pretty alright levels, especially for their time! I wish they got to be refined for the modern game's style when PT became PEAK. It's sad.
I feel a similar way about a lot of these levels, but when I look back on nearly every other level’s history, it’s clear that early PT was really just a different thing altogether. So even if some levels looked bad in the final builds they featured in, they could’ve very well have been made into something MUCH better by the time the game released if McPig wanted to stick with them. That’s part of what makes this game so interesting
@ yeah, I agree. PT was a different thing back then, it just wasn’t for me. Also in my eyes, April 2021 and Rework together are the worst 2 builds. It’s funny to me cause right after the worst build, rework, McPig immediately started making the game peak.
And yeah, I agree. I mean almost every post floor 1 level in beta PT (mainly the 2 I’m talking about) are kinda yikes. But all those levels once so bad, for the most part became amazing. I really wonder what all these levels could’ve been like if they survived into the present. Probably good.
