I had no idea this was technically the continuation of the real Harvest Moon, after the dumpster fire that new the new game on steam, I wanted to see what this was like and it's already a million times better
I feel like I'm very late but I was watching this in class and was just laughing at all the side things you said "im gonna keep all the hoesss in there" and just laughing thoughout is honestly so great
I've had this game for a while and decided to look up playthroughs of it to listen to while I play. I really liked this video, so I think I'll be sticking around!
I remember my grandmother got me this game a couple years ago when I was 14, when it first came out. I used to play my mom's old harvest moon game that she used to play on her ds lite and I really loved it. Although my first impressions of this game was that it was going to be a shitty harvest moon knock off and I didn't touch it until about a week ago on a really long car ride. I decided I would play it, and I've been playing it for a week and I've already dumped 18 hours into it and I'm only on the third season of the first year. If you're like me and you blast through ds games really fast, then I would recommend this game, or any harvest moon like game.
When I first saw Giorgio I honestly thought he was going to be one of the bachelors, only to find out he's not romanceable at all xD he looks like that bishie character you can't help but hate cause of his eccentricity lol
geezus I'm so glad I found your channel. I had no idea the old, good harvest moon system had changed names- I thought it was dead for a long while after tale of two towns...thank you for showing this off! I'm definitely going to pick this up soon!
Got a copy of this game traded in to the store that I work at and I was looking up videos to see if I wanted to buy it. This was the first video I found and I ended up watching most of it while at work lol. Super entertaining video and you have a really nice voice! +Lulu Linn Oh, it's really cute! As for hints...whew. I could write an essay. I'll try mention a few that pop into my head. 1. Try to get your horse right away. You want to get its hearts up because next year you'll be able to enter it in the horse race for a lot of money. You get it for free at Yodel Farm. 2. Don't throw anything on the ground in the town or in someone's house. It's considered littering, and the villagers will dislike you. Throwing stuff on your farm is fine, though. 3. Try to upgrade your rucksack right away. There are a lot of items that you can gather each day to make money. 4. You can give people more than 1 gift per day. If romancing someone, fill your rucksack (the largest holds 9 items, including one on top of your head) with items she likes and just give them all to her at once lol 5. Get power berries. They increase your stamina. They're all hidden around the town, but you can look them up pretty easily. I don't think there's any you can get right now, except maybe the one on Mother's Hill which you get for attempting to cut down the large tree and then saying you won't when prompted by the tree. These are just a few I thought of lol Hope they help!
I've been so obsessed with this game since I got it! Didn't release in the uk till 31st of December 2015 which sucked but now I have it been playing it like crazy. :) Great playthrough

+KitaNashGaming Yeah I am so glad I finally have it because I've been so excited for it since I heard it was being made. Only thing that annoys me about it is you can't multiplayer with people outside your region so I can't multiplayer with my US friends but its not the end of the world, it just sucks a bit lol.
+KitaNashGaming oh wow sorry for my late reply, yeah it really sucks because I usually play in the early hours due to not being able to sleep & no one is ever online because the timezones are so close to my own so its harder to find someone to play, I have played with a few in the day too! This is the best let's play that I've ever seen. Most people take it seriously and make it boring, your comedy was great. I liked and subbed. At the reminder part I couldn't stop laughing because that's so dumb. That's like how if in GTA V there was a reminder that said "Remember that stealing cars and killing people in real life is dangerous but it's safe to do those things in this game" LOL

If I just read the dialogue that would be terribly boring lol My only problem is trying to remember everyone's voices. There are so many characters! Lol!
Yeah, i guess you're right. If i was to sit reading the dialogues in a game intro for hours, i would be bored enough to then fall asleep xD Moreover, i'm sure you'll be fine in remembering people's voices. Oh yeah, talking about people's voices i really like the voice you did for Eda. I can't go high pitched and sound like a grandma. But i didn't mean to call you a grandma, its just your voice for a grandma is perfectly good. :) Also, if i'm free i'll be sure to watch more LPs.
+VelvetZelda Yeah, I've been pretty disappointed with Harvest Moon games on the DS and 3DS so far, but this one is great! I really don't have any major complaints with it. It took what was already great about Harvest Moon and added some cool new features. I hope they release it in Europe soon! I've had so many people comment that they're sad it isn't available there yet. :/

Just bought this and got it in the mail today. Enjoying it well enough so far, I just wish I had more stamina xD I also seem to get done with farm stuff really early in the day. I suppose that all changed when you get more plots and animals, etc.
You will eventually have so much to do. My in-game days are really long now. It almost takes me an entire day to get everything done, so don't worry about that! Also, upgrading tools will help with stamina usage. You can also eat at Raeger's restaurant (for a fee) to regain stamina. I was doing that for a long time before I made an accessory combo that lets me get stamina back. I think I talked about it in one of the videos. Probably much later on in the series. :)

I have stardew valley and story of seasons so i wanted to watch someone who could help me like a walk though and i saw you had not one but both, and your vids really helped me out thanks, i can tell you like games like harvest moon.Farming games are always relaxing. I got stardew valley first cause it was getting popular and i really loved it, the whole farming aspect, getting a romance and actually having a family, andf the new challenges every season. I wanted a game like it for my 3ds and i found story of seasons, but long story short, thanks for the gameplays, ill have fun watching them all and your future lets plays. I know what u mean about the tutorials being long. I miss the days when games did Not have tutorials. If it was a PC game, it said, *Press F1 for command menu* If someone was able to read, they would press F1 and there's a full list of commands for their use. And console games came with booklets that gave a detailed command list. You didn't need these long in-game tutorials if you had that. I'd rather have a list
Here's the thing about tutorials: I, too, thought they were dumb and annoying. And then two things happened: first, I tried to play one of the sonic DS games, which has no tutorials, and if you try to learn controls by experimentation, you instantly DIE, which made me appreciate the game TELLING ME THE CONTROLS, and second, I tried to introduce some friends of mine who had never in their lives played video games to some simple games, and discovered that all the things we take for granted? NOT NECESSARILY INTUITIVE FOR THEM. (that said, I believe firmly that tutorials should be skippable)

I'm fortunate that I still have a copy of Back to Nature from when I was a kid. The SNES Harvest Moon is definitely the most expensive and hardest to get, though.

Also, the Wii U virtual console has a few games you can download. I would recommend Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. It was originally a GBA game, and it's awesome! I think it's only $6.

Just bought this and got it in the mail today. Enjoying it well enough so far, I just wish I had more stamina xD I also seem to get done with farm stuff really early in the day. I suppose that all changed when you get more plots and animals, etc.
You will eventually have so much to do. My in-game days are really long now. It almost takes me an entire day to get everything done, so don't worry about that! Also, upgrading tools will help with stamina usage. You can also eat at Raeger's restaurant (for a fee) to regain stamina. I was doing that for a long time before I made an accessory combo that lets me get stamina back. I think I talked about it in one of the videos. Probably much later on in the series. :)

Hey i found your channel like a few months ago but forgot to actually check it out, you are really awesome at games. I have stardew valley and story of seasons so i wanted to watch someone who could help me like a walk though and i saw you had not one but both, and your vids really helped me out thanks, i can tell you like games like harvest moon.Farming games are always relaxing. I got stardew valley first cause it was getting popular and i really loved it, the whole farming aspect, getting a romance and actually having a family, andf the new challenges every season. I wanted a game like it for my 3ds and i found story of seasons, but long story short, thanks for the gameplays, ill have fun watching them all and your future lets plays. oh I didn't know about the new one, I had the other game polis or something but I didn't like it as much as sos or stardew. But I'll look up on the new one, and I just realized u have 85 vids of this so far XD Ima be here for a while

I did a quick search online, but it doesn't look like anyone has an idea about it releasing in Europe. :(

If you want to play a similar game and have a PC, Stardew Valley is a popular indie Harvest Moon game and it's only $15 on Steam. I'm also let's playing that as well, so feel free to check it out if you like ^^

Omg yeah I saw that game on youtube and it looks fun! I should definitely try it and I also saw you can mod the game make custom skins etc.. The main reason I want story of seasons is that you can actually make your own character and also the clothing in game is supposed to be gender neutral(kind of the developer's answer to people requesting same sex marriage in game without pissing off parents) so crossdressing is a thing... I feel silly for only wanting a 3DS for one game X'D

I know what u mean about the tutorials being long. I miss the days when games did Not have tutorials. If it was a PC game, it said, *Press F1 for command menu* If someone was able to read, they would press F1 and there's a full list of commands for their use. And console games came with booklets that gave a detailed command list. You didn't need these long in-game tutorials if you had that. I'd rather have a list

Here's the thing about tutorials: I, too, thought they were dumb and annoying. And then two things happened: first, I tried to play one of the sonic DS games, which has no tutorials, and if you try to learn controls by experimentation, you instantly DIE, which made me appreciate the game TELLING ME THE CONTROLS, and second, I tried to introduce some friends of mine who had never in their lives played video games to some simple games, and discovered that all the things we take for granted? NOT NECESSARILY INTUITIVE FOR THEM. (that said, I believe firmly that tutorials should be skippable)

I've been trying to get my hands on Back to Nature but it's pretty pricey! I do have Friends of Mineral town though! I love your voice acting and funny stuff you said about games to👍🏻
I'm fortunate that I still have a copy of Back to Nature from when I was a kid. The SNES Harvest Moon is definitely the most expensive and hardest to get, though.
I have an SNES and would like to get that game to:) But now its on the eShop that I can get through the 3DS or the WiiU and its cheap like only 9.99?

Also, the Wii U virtual console has a few games you can download. I would recommend Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. It was originally a GBA game, and it's awesome! I think it's only $6.
