Hiya, we have just booked a very similar cruise on Marella Explorer out of Corfu for May. Would you mind telling us a little bit about the transfer to the ship, how it works with your baggage and how (or if) you're allowed to explore Corfu after you have embarked on day one as we dont sail until 11pm. Thank you
You essentially get transferred on a bus to the terminal, check in at the terminal, identify your luggage and label it as per the tags given to you at check in, then board. It was super easy ❤️
Thanks for this video. I’m seriously considering using TUI for our Dalmatian Coast and full Greek Islands (and Turkey) cruises (3 back-to-back cruises). How would you rate your cabin and the food on the ship? Is this a cruise line you would recommend or not recommend?
I’m sailing on this ship again tomorrow (North America) and the. Marella Voyager this October. Obviously the ships are older than many cruise line fleets but they are charming. The service is excellent. I’d rate the food as ‘good’. I like how casual things are. Did you watch my cabin tours of discovery inside cabin and Explorer 2 outside cabin? I found them spacious and clean.

If you look on the latest vlog from last week you’ll see the vegetarian and vegan options on the menus I filmed (all the codes there too including where dishes can be prepared as vegetarian and / or vegan)

Wife is a bit apprehensive about the ‘boozy’ tag some cruise critics have associated to Marella but those few occasions that someone gets a bit too verbal through excess alcohol could happen on any holiday. We’ve seen it on P&O 🤷🏻♂️

the main dining room looks stunning on this ship! Venice looked so good. It's one of first places I want to visit after this lockdown is over.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the ship and yes the dining room is wonderful :) Lots of thumbs up from me!
