I love and hate these types of videos 😂. As you go over your favorite suppliers i am making lists of who to order from and what i want. If I were to buy all that I want I would need thousands of dollars and a farm with lots of land 😂 unfortunately for me I am just a small time grower; growing for one small florist and I also do a few market bouquets.
Hello! This winter is my first time storing dahlia tubers I dug up. Every month I check on them to see if they are dry and every time I see they are. I've sprayed water on them. If they look shrivelled still should I throw them out? Or are they still usable for planting ?
Tubers need pretty high humidity to store. Its a balance between not too dry and not too wet. If they're not completely dried out, there's a possibility they could still sprout. If you're having issues with drying out, seal up the container they are stored in tighter to keep more moisture in. Spraying them doesn't help but spraying the storage medium a little bit helps add moisture to keep any more shriveling from happening. Hope that helps
