Beautiful display! I love dahlias too, I live in gardening zone 7a and do not bring my dahlia tuber in (only grow 1 but have Had a few different ones over the years) however mine is next to the back of our house and under the house over hang. Thank you for going to the trouble of setting up this beautiful display for your viewers. Planning on growing a few more next year after seeing this video.
We got our first frost here in Minnesota last night. A local, award winning dahlia grower in our area, cut a nice selection of the dahlias he grows and brought them in to the flower shop where I work. They are for us to use and to sell to our customers. He didn't want them to go to waste and wanted to share the luxurious beauty with others in our area. One variety that I recognized right away, thanks to watching your videos, was 'Pooh'! My word... that dahlia is so beautiful and unique.🥰 I love that your video came out today so I can try to identify a few more. All of them are such an impressive flower!
Wouldn't an orange pumpkin as a vase, with all those beautiful yellow, orange and red dahlias be beautiful. That table full of flowers, just made my day. Thank you for all your time. Enjoyed it so much.
This was a really great way to see these and easier to make comparisons between varieties. Both similarities and differences and also to see size comparisons. Plus it does make a very impressive display for the table in the cut flower shed. 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️
FYI! Your Cafe Con Leche is a mix from Eden brothers and that flower is one of the flowers from it called Sweet Nathalie- a much coveted pretty across the insta-dahlia world! 🌸💛
Which tubers are you definitely digging to keep and which ones would you not be disappointed if they didn't make it through the winter? Maybe your mystery flower is a Thomas Edison. Also b/c of this video I'm updating my dahlia order!
I love all your videos and specially these ones cause they allow us to see different varieties and discover dahlia traits we will be looking forward to find in the new varieties for next year. Also, in the dinnerplate pastel mix, you mentioned Labrynth, but that bloom looks more like penhill watermelon to me. One of my favourite dahlia varieties. But I might be wrong for sure! Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!
Good morning, Laura, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🇺🇸 Beautiful is the only thing I can say! Take care to everyone in Hurricane 🌀 Ian's path. We are preparing for the worst and 🙏 for the best Happy Gardening Everyone 👩🌾👍💓
Mostly off topic..... I'm looking to get a Hose link so I was searching for when you installed them on your channel..... Came across where you installed 5 in the South garden..... TWO YEARS AGO!! I cannot believe you have had this going this long. So this is it's 3rd season. And how beautiful!!
Amazing dahlias! I dug up our dahlia tubers last fall and stored them and that didn’t work out sadly, not sure what I did wrong. However, I guess I missed part of the tuber in one spot and it survived with no mulch and came up on its own mid summer lol. I’m in zone 6b and we have pretty cold winters. I was shocked.
Outstanding presentation! I would take a wide angle photo and have a large poster made and hang in the cut flower shed. You would have a beautiful memory of gorgeous dahlia’s. Thanks for all your videos, GA and coffee is my go to morning inspiration.
Laura, have you dried any of these? If so what type of drying method did you use? It would be fun to see if they do dry and how do they retain color. That Noel one would be fun for Christmas. Your flowers are just so beautiful.
Tell Benjamin hands down Zinnias for the win!!! Dahlias? Too much work. Zinnias have just as much variety, even on one plant and a longer vase life! Watching all the effort you've put into your dahlias, Laura, has convinced me with my very short zone 4 season that zinnias are the way to go!
One of each please! Absolutely gorgeous, and I especially love the purple colored ones! My dahlias really put on lots of Leafy growth and not many blooms and I’m thinking it’s because we had so much rain this year. Is there a fertilizer that would help Promote more blooms? Flower tone?
Thank you for taking the time to label them and place them all out on a table! What a treat. The amount of work you put into your videos is MUCH appreciated. 💌

Yes. I have a Thomas Edison and I thought so as well!
Good morning, Laura, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🇺🇸

My vote on the large purple unnamed one would be Thomas Edison. Love those collarettes and need to try next year!
Outstanding presentation! I would take a wide angle photo and have a large poster made and hang in the cut flower shed. You would have a beautiful memory of gorgeous dahlia’s. Thanks for all your videos, GA and coffee is my go to morning inspiration.
I am amazed on how many textures and styles one flower can make
Laura, have you dried any of these? If so what type of drying method did you use? It would be fun to see if they do dry and how do they retain color. That Noel one would be fun for Christmas. Your flowers are just so beautiful.
Ooooooohhhhhh when you walked in and showed the table with the dahlias - oh my goodness so so beautiful! That made my day!!!!!!I
That beautiful purple looks like Thomas Edison dahlia
I was thinking the same! I have one in my garden and it looks just like it!
that table with all the blooms is a thing of beauty .. a true vision.
Good morning! 🌻🐝
Love the way you showed them in jars! It give a very honest color for folks!
Loving your beautiful garden xx
Happy blue eyes was the one that took my breath away. They are all gorgeous but the happy blue eyes was just so extra special for me.
where is your favorite place to buy dahlia tubers from?
Excellent system you have going on with your flowers!
My jaw dropped when you walked into the flower shed. I wasn't expecting that lol. Omg they are stunning. Thanks Laura :-)
I really enjoyed the video. So much easier to see the flowers. So beautiful Laura, thank you!
Amen!! I just love zinnias
Wow! So pretty and so many. This is why I grow flowers only channel. One day my garden will look like this.
that table full of blooms brought tears to my eyes!!! so lovely to see all the fruits of your labor displayed so beautifully!
Really helped me decide on what I wanted to plant.
I can't pick my favorite; they are all glorious! Thank you, I will definitely come back to this video again and again!
One of each please! Absolutely gorgeous, and I especially love the purple colored ones! My dahlias really put on lots of
Leafy growth and not many blooms and I’m thinking it’s because we had so much rain this year. Is there a fertilizer that would help
Promote more blooms? Flower tone?
