back before i upgraded my rig i played on about 12fps (50% 3d render) as painful as that was. now i play at 45ish on my laptop but ping.... oh god the ping... being Australian= terrible ping. i don't know a single Australian that is able to get less than 120ms. most people sit between 180ms-250ms...
Aleksa Rajkovic i have around 50ms ping average and i play with 60-70fps average on ultra! :D i tried playing on minimum settings and my fps got up to 300 xD Thats what you get if you buy a pc for 600 euros ^^

yep. And good luck with packet loss. NA server was shitloads more stable than the asian server has ever been.
i got max 15 fps,my ping is around 100,still playing normally. Off course there are so many players with mighty machines, playing on high fps and that gives them huge advantage over me. WG should rather optimize the game instead of nerfing and other "brilliant" ideas ;)

I have about 6-700 plays on mine, and I got a maximum of 8 kills in it, but I did get 2 Kolobanov's Medals over the course of several weeks !!!

I think it's a masochist's tank. Every time I play a game in it, I either get shot to shit by lower tier tanks spamming gold, arty, or higher tier tanks penning me everywhere. Honestly, I'd even take a Hellcat into a tier 8 game over this piece of shit.
Yes, it does have it's flaws, as any tank in the game, however you need to play it to it's advantages, long range (as show even in this video), engage smartly and plan ahead. Difficult to play, indeed, but very rewarding if you manage it right. Still too damn slow though :)
Overmind878787 My shots all just miss at long range. I've had some very very good games in this tank, but it seems to be very team dependent. That's why I don't like it.
It's objective, some people will like it and do good in it, some people will hate it, either way as I said above it's not for everyone !!!

at tier 9 152mm of side armour really is nothing.... especially when you consider the fact that the weak side Armour also exposes easy module damage to things such as your engine... it becomes quite bad.

Before the introduction of premium ammo for credits and general ccuracy buff this TD used to be an absolute beast. I ground through it with 68% wins over 112 battles before unlocking the T30 and have fond memories of it.
Back then it was basically just as well armoured as the T28 but it had a turret which made it simply better.
Lately though with the aforementioned changes the T28 Prot. has been on a demise as has the T28 because they are just not worth playing much anymore unless the enemies are complete idiots.
Good to see one do so well though, very nice match!

I actually agree, in my opinion the maximum damage per shot on tier 10 should be capped at 1100hp. Max damage at tier 9 should be 750 (the 150 "short guns" should go from tier 9) and max damage on tier 8 should be a 128mm gun doing 490.
That would bring back a bit of fun again.
It's the same with the Ferdinand,I frankly prefer the JP2.

Kudos to Sigurlam that 59-16 driver for helping him achieve this. Probably the rarest of all things rare in WoT is a good scout as well as an honorable soul to not be greedy and help rather than hinder.
Grats to the 59-16 probably the 1st time I've seen a scout last more than 30 seconds in a very long time.

Even more impressive when you look at the FPS.
Now that is how a Tank Destroyer should be played. Find a nice spot, far away from the front lines, and engage enemy tanks as they are distracted by your teammates. Not like how those stupid tomatoes play; i.e. they have a turretless/casemate TD and go like "Oooohh look at me Imma Tank Destroyer I'm gunna own ur assez" and then just charge straight into the enemy. Few seconds later, they end up taken out, unable to defend themselves because they got tracked and can't aim at enemies because they have no turret. They're too stupid to understand the point of a tank destroyer, or they do but diss it anyway.
On a side note: wow that T28 Proto has an amazing gun. Fast reload time AND high alpha damage. Damn, no wonder my brother gets scared whenever he sees one aiming at him.
I don't get why people here don't like the idea of "campaign" like if it was COD or something like that, this game is completely different than a first person shooter.
With a t28 prot. you CAN'T just drive around like a scout , it is a very slow tank that once you get it fully upgraded it's deadly but remains a bit slow.
The type of tank will determine how you will play this game and what role you'll have to follow depending on the map and what kinds of tanks your teammates are using.
This is a tank destroyer, not a light tank or a medium, TD bring support to heavy or medium, or can also protect arty and base.... in other words if you have to camp, you'll have to do it no matter what happens if your role is to stay at base protecting, spotting or supporting there is nothing wrong with "camping".

You rarely get games like this. Once did I get 13 kills in my is-4 when it was a tier 9. While doing this I was 1 v7 and cross team taunting them and telling the opposition where I was lol.
The t95 has triple the side armor..... So I don't think you can say " bad side armour like the t95 " when it has triple the armour on the side.....
with the base starter equipment, this tank is painful, that's all you needed to say. Even the fully equipped tank is a painful grind
QB kept on going full moron... lol. The t28 prot is not before the t95. The t28 leads to the t95, the t25 at leads to the t28 and the t25/2 leads to the t28 prot.
I enjoyed this replay and obviously 14 kills is phenomenal but I did find it a bit boring that the 28 Proto stayed in the same spot for most of the game (this was the right thing to do but just made for pretty boring viewing). I also felt that Quickybaby didn't really know the American TD's that well because he kept saying that this slow tank gets you ready for the T95 when that is in fact the other American TD line. This is probably one of my favourite tanks and if you want to match another Ace Tanker replay then I have a replay on my channel.
I think he meant this tank and any slow one in general, like he could've said that about the KV-2 because it is slow. You can go from the t-28 proto to the t28 then the T95 however. It lets you do that

T 28 prot is good vs 8 tiers but when you get in + 2 tiers the front armour is usless you get spoted very fast the penetration is 186 not 248 so it's hard to pen 10 tiers in front and there is arty ....1 good shoot in your back and your out. I did 4800 max dmg in 800 battles so it's not that amazing.
You kept comparing the T28 Prot with the T95. Maybe you were thinking about the T28 instead of the T95?

i object to your statement concerning the t95! it has among the best side and roof armor in the game. so no the t28 proto and the t28 do not prepare you for the t95's armor, they prepare you for the mobility

No, this doesn't show what T28 prot. is capable of, not even close... It's one of the most shitty tanks in the game, boring as hell, and the only good thing about it is definitely the gun, nothing else... I guess only a 10 min camper, may love it... This was one in a lifetime game, with around 25 donkeys (both teams), and a perfect spot camping, no offense but it is what it is... Congrats anyways on the result...
This is nothing, I once counted 29 kills but the game recognized only 1. I think the kill counter may be broken.

The more I read comments in videos I watch the more I lose faith in humanity. No matter how good certain player performs in replay that QB wants to show us there are still people that will bash player from said video for ANY. FUCKING. REASON. Why don't you guys post videos with result at least CLOSE to what we can see here or on other QB video? That's why, you're one of "tomatoes" that you bash and you'd propably never in your life achieve such a result.

That was fucking astounding. Lately I have gotten into a game, poked my nose out, got vaporized, and still got a 71% wr :P Mind you my WN8 is only 1430 atm :( I have to play ULTRA conservatively to survive. its like I have zero armor regardless of the tank.
Old El Halouf I cry everytime, so good map it was before they fucked up :( WG is destroying good maps and giving maps for stupid tomatoes which just go 3 times press R and go into great place. Can't wait for destroying more maps in next patch.

T28 proto is a solid td, I had fun in it, the only drawback is its extremely low speed. I think I got 8 kills in it, and it does work best with a scout. Early scouting and proper passive scouting do wonder for your t28 protos, because they can decide early where to shift their bulk and help the frontline. Without proper scouting, you are condemned to sit there, not using your gun, which makes a very frustrating game.
Wish i had so many opponents driving alone in the open field. Arty would have changed this game very badly for him i guess. Congratulations for 14 kills, but mostly it´s much harder to get the half of it :)

Lithuanians are proud of you, mr QB ;D. Your "Raseiniai" pronunciation was so good i had to rewind it a few times ;D, i was like "wait, what?!". Nobody on youtube (at least not on my radar) has ever said it that well. Yeah.. except "s" is pronounced "s" as in a word "silly" or "salmon" rather than "z" like in "zigzag" or "zero". Keep up the awesomeness ;)
When I first started playing WoT my first line to tier 10 was the American Turret TD line. of that my favorites were the Hellcat, The T28 Prot. and the T30. The T110E4 is fine but not as spectacular as the other 3.
As for th T28 Prototype I developed a style of play that I feel that vehicle was designed for; think of it as direct fire arty. I would follow the heavies into battle, due to my speed they would all be engaged by the time I reached the front. However, because of this TD's high rate of fire and steady DPS, this situation was perfect. I would be able to deliver devastating supporting fire.
Also, the front of this TD is rock hard for its tier and so it is a nice vehicle for holding choke points on the map or as a line breaker with the support of heavies. However, this video I think show the best game play I have ever seen. With the light tank scouting for the T28 Prot. he had great control over the engagements. The scout did an outstanding job. I wish more players would watch this video and get it through their head that this is a team effort.

Having grinded through both the T28 and prototype versions, I have to say the prototype has more effective armour. as you can angle around a corner and be nearly invincible, just got to worry about your turret cheeks. But if you keep it at range, than that isn't too much of a problem.
Biggest problem with the T28 overall is the gun accuracy. Sometimes you'll miss shots completely even though you were aiming centre mass. But the proto is definitely better than the bare T28. Much more flexible and more effective armour make this tank a beast when it keeps its distance with its fantastic camo rating and view range. We'll have to see how the TD view range nerf treats it though.
14 kills and only 20k wn8? wtf lol.. i picked up 23k wn8 in my kv-3 once with only 9 kills.. that is weird and i do believe he did more damage than me. and it's on the quickybaby"s replay site if you want to see it it's ''kv-3 at it's best''.
T28 PROtotype next to JT 8.8 is my fav tier 8 vehicle. I have T30 already but keep his younger bro in garage. Awesome gun, good frontal armor and camo plus huge turret traverse. Yes is slowly but it's ok otherwise will be op
That's because he FUCKING used gold ammunition the whole time cause he's a FUCKING POCKET warrior now I bet if they never had gold ammunition on this game that whouldnt of happened but he had to use cheating gold ammunition
You should have looked at the 59-16's spotting. They should be tied for MVP. The T28 Proto would've been fucked without him, and he would have been fucked without the 59-16.
I really learn to camp like a pro in this game. Besides the kills nothing interesting.
I have found the best way to quickly get through the T30 is to abuse the high fire-rate and decent pen (great premium pen) of the 120mm, essentially returning it to its old heavy tank status. That said, the 155mm alpha is certainly far more satisfying.
The T28 Prototype is my favorite heavy of Tier VIII; you have to play it. I had no intention of going down the E3 line, but I unlocked the T28 just as an excuse to keep playing the Prototype.
My highest tank ive reach before i get bored by the game :) i loved him so much. good armor ( not against ISU tho) and epic gun with brutal dps and pene, actually first tank where i did not have to care about aiming weakspots that much :) And best thing bout it is that u always have an excuse for camping: your engine. :D
I am a bit suspicious about the black prince engagement at the end. He seemed to know where it was, so a VERY lucky guess or using hax. If not, congrats on using your TD properly.

Thank goodness they deleted that position on El Halluf. It is a hard map now for lights and light mediums, but the only tanks that liked it before were TD's and arty. Definite improvement.

I had a monser game in my sturer emil but of course i lost because RNG didnt want to give me my sixth kill on a tiger, the gun has 490 damage but i hit him for 462 damage leaving him on 2 hp and getting him a kill. I was like well fuck...
Most people don't know this but those two objects on the back of the Prototype,t-28, and t-95 are actually in-door swimming pools. One for the officers and one for the enlisted.
Basically this is just a perfect display of the reasons why the map was nerfed. He abused the advantages given to his particular type of tank perfectly, the map simply provided the perfect vantage point at the start and nice defensive positions all the time, none of which were very far from each other, so his lack of speed did not matter. He may have skill, but the win and 14 kills were supplied by a combo of map disbalance and luck.

IMO its an awesome tank, great gun... but it's ruined by one thing.......arty. Even 1xarty in enemy team and just forget about doing anything other than camping.
As you said you don't have a T28 prototype. How about getting the T110E4 and T110E3? A video comparing those 2 would be fantastic :D
I had this tank and I liked it quite a lot. The only problem I had with it was the top speed. If it went 20kph max and was able to reach that, I'd think it was a well rounded, good tank. I recommend playing this tank if you don't mind going slow, yet love to pound the shit out of your enemies.
The Prot really isn't a good tank, and yet I always seemed to do well in it. I think I had a 54% or 55% win rate in mine? That 120mm can be really nasty when it isn't trolling you harder than a BL-10.
hmm anybody and everybody can sit behind a rock on a hill...i feel that this was mostly luck, ok a bit of nice map reading and angle work yeah but experienced players should be able to to this. I'm not saying he's a bad player just that he had a 1 in a billion game
The poor armor and mobility of this tank almost requires enemies to just line up to get shot for it to do well. This is one of the many tanks that has suffered from easily available win rounds. It has amazing DPM when you're in a position to use it. The challenge is being in the right place at the right time with limited mobility.
In my opinion, DangerFrom Behind did the right thing by engaging the enemy tanks from afar, which is where it is good at. It does not have the speed nor the armor to engage enemy tanks in close quarters, and it's just too slow! It would be easy for a light tank to chew it in seconds!
tbh this tank is worth the grind just the speed is shit side n rear is shit. QB should go for it. n some corrections for ur T95 side armour. T95 side armour may look thin on stats but rmb T95 have thick tracks n very good spaced armour. oni the rear of T95 is shit. the side n front of T95 is OP.

It and t28 basically got killed by prem shells for silver, huge flat surfaces to pen and no way to move out of the way. Used to enjoy these but now t28 sold and t28 nearly so :(
I wish there was a camp system in this game to make custom camos for your tanks. Kind of like the custom skins for guns you could make with call of duty. I just think that would be awesome and prob make wargaming some money to bc they could sell certain shit for gold or whatever.
for me the t-28 proto was the single greatest upgrade from 1 tier to the next. and then again with the 120mm gun which makes tier 10 matches really no problem at all. then the T-30 is better still and then the beast 110e4 which i think is second to only the deathstar.
t28 proto vs a sp 1v1 the proto if in good hands can pretty much seal club the sp without much help, the sp isn't maneuverable enough to get on the side of a good player, and i don't think his gold rounds are even enough to go through the front. I played the t28 proto alot and rubbed my hands together whenever i saw an is 6 or sp alone
T-28: Like many TDs, its very good at long range, garbage at 30 meters.

Nice farm, however, dont put camo net on a Prot! It has bad camo already, so you may as well use the 3rd equipment on buffing something useful.
My great failing in WOT is I rush in to trouble and get killed right away. In my Proto I cant rush any where and so I tend to survive and have good games. It makes me a better player and has taught me patience and timeing.
the T28 proto is a very good td. it has a great gun and the armour is even better then you would expect. i've bounced numerous rounds from high caliber guns without even angling the frontal armour.
Why I say, a T28 Prototype on one of the biggest maps in the game? Practically pristine conditions for a Raiseiniai's Medal!

Later on, the Prototype became a joke. I'm rather sure that the german expression for early war russian tanks works well for the Prototype. "It's enough to spit on the tank to blow it up."
