@@TheActiveAuntie Yes it did. It’s just remembering all the terminology and description of all the different parts under the hood might be a bit challenging. But overall Thanks 🙏🏾
Here in Minnesota, when we do our inside pre trip inspection, we must talk about all of the Dash lights and signals, do a psi, brake test plus more. I don’t remember everything. We also have to check the emergency door alarm and student check alarm. Oh yes and all of the signs on the inside of the bus. This is the 1st company I’ve worked at where they will be testing us every school year before school starts back up. I’m going through your videos because I have a test today. I noticed with your pre trip on the outside of the bus, you didn’t do under the bus. Do you all not have to do that? That part always trips me up. My mind draws a blank and I miss things all of the time when testing about under the bus.
Thank you for sharing about your state! You never know who it may help! With my company and test we didn’t have to know under the bus. It’s so interesting to hear about how all states and companies are so different! I feel like some companies over complicate it all. But good luck with your test! And safe driving for your upcoming school year!!!
your inspection should done in a logical order, to make it easier to remember. I can teach you how to be more efficient, grouping items ex. ,safety equipment, brakes, mirror, lights, should be done together instead of jumping from 1 to the other. We know the order is not required, but again it's going to make it easier.
For a part time job the pay is nice where I’m located. It’s like an extra 1400$ a month. But I don’t plan on retiring here. I do believe some companies offer a lot of perks where you might be able to make it a full time thing but right now I just do it part time for the extra cash!
Awesome, just got my permit for PA. I’m in training for my pre trip inspection. Glad I found this video
Good Luck!! glad it could help some!
