I think the ritual failed bc she had a will to live after falling in love. The chosen maidens were groomed while young to want for nothing wordly and accept their fate. Willingness to sacrifice oneself is a recurring theme it seems

I was surprised to see you haven't covered the game 999. I feel like it would be right up your alley for these types of videos (despite it being a visual novel). And given the endings of these types of videos, I think you'll have a field day with 999 ;)

i doubt it was like the ring since the editor and friends seems immediately got killed when they got caught by Kirie. maybe yea, she was saved by the good kirie, but still i cant find the exact answer for this..@@leodese_
