First of all, you are amazing! Love your vlogs! I agree so much with what you were saying about looking at the glass half full! Life will throw us all bunch of crap but the way we deal with it can make such a difference! I went throught a rough patch a couple of years ago but then I decided I had to stop feeling sorry for myself and to try to accept what happened as a part of life and honestly I feel so much better now!

I've had the goal of being a more positive minded person too, I feel like it makes a world of difference in all aspects of my life. But I'm here to say its hard work! Some days aren't good and I have to remind myself tomorrow I can do better. I hope just being mindful about it will slowly make it more consistent Thanks for sharing!

Just love your vlogs for the aesthetic small moments- have literally been following you since your college vlogs! I live in a much smaller city in the UK and am hoping to move to France this September also and it feels nice to romanticise and reap the benefits of the city life because it can feel pretty brutal as well!

I know this feeling taking your normal home route and thinking soon it will not be your home anymore. Such a strange feeling!! French is my enemy but I can recommend you the french Band L’Impératrice. Listening to a language always helps me and their music is amazing 😊
Elena, I moved to NYC for grad school in 2019 and came from San Diego as well! I was in love with NYC and eventually became jaded and negative as well. And anytime I visited SD, I noticed how much lighter and healthier I felt/looked too (sunshine, having space in gym, cleaner air). I still love NYC so much, but I wish it didn’t stress me out so much haha.

When I lived in Paris, I was a member at L’Usine - which is equivalent in price and quality to Equinox! Highly recommend! Have so much fun in Paris

Re: reframing your thoughts. I’ll share my perspective and maybe it can help reframe yours. From the outside, you appear to have an amazing life. You have everything a person would need and then some. You are smart, loved, financially secure, interesting job, interesting life, beautiful (hopefully kind!). Id focus on the gratitude of all those blessings in your life, really meditate on it. resonate on the the gratitude/ the fortune/ the luck / the hard work bc you are living a life that few people experience. I suppose it’s easy to get caught up in the rat race and I’m sure you feel like many people around have much more than you do. But you are right, framing is everything. And also those feelings of lacking are so common. It’s part of the process of becoming. You’ll find what your are looking for in time, and probably realize you had it the entire time. And yes apathy isn’t cool, emotions and vulnerability is!!

Sorbonne University, you have to be at the B2 level of French. The lectures will be in French.
If you would prefer an English speaking program, there is the
London School of Economics. It focuses on all business degrees, including Communications/Marketing. I think they also have Art Management degrees.
I hope you make your time count and lean into your strengths.
