LOL I just built my new office desk that will house a 55, and two 29s. WIll post a video on it soon. I think I'm going to put just one Electric Blue Texas in the 120, move the EBA to the 55, and get some other smaller cichlids like possibly the shell dwellers for the two 29s.
Yeah me either! I’m gonna have to be patient and do it in phases. I’m curious, how do you do with patience in the hobby knowing we have all these ideas but only so much time, energy, and money to spend on fish.
Where’d you get that background? Looks great with the plants, also I have another question about blood parrots, I’ve been getting mixed responses, can you have a single blood parrot on its own? Or does it have to have other blood parrots
In terms of the parrot question, I have found they do just fine by themselves. I may get another and put in a 29 gallon by itself. Thanks for watching and your questions. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hey! I only have (3) right now. I have the 120 gal, 36 bowfront and the new 60 gal for the office desk. Gonna get (2) 29 gals to finish off the office desk and then will stay out with that amount for a while. How about you?
@@effortplusfailureequalssuccess nice! Only got a 125 at present. Keep it lightly stocked with few monsters. You saw my tank in my video yesterday. I remember one of your Tanks heavily stocked, looked cool however high maintenance like you mentioned in your recent video.
Hey! A 125 gal is a perfect tank to have!! And yah, more and more I am trying to find the balance between fulfilling my desires with new fish, a stock list that will work well together, and not getting too many so I don't have to a ton of maintenance. As you mentioned, I did the overstock thing for a while but it burnt me out over time. At first, I was super excited and the maintenance didn't bother me. But at some point, the weekly up keep became more work than the joy I was getting from the tank. It is always evolving!
@@effortplusfailureequalssuccess great point! Jason at Prime time Aquatics mentioned in his videos that when fish keeping starts to feel like work (the type we don't like) then it's no longer a hobby. I'm tempted to get more tanks space is the issue at present. Your right about 125 being just right and big enough and not small although would like an 8ft tank if I had the space. You mentioned a good point of striking a balance and noticed your now there 👊🏽
Something tells me, the break from cichlids is not permanent!🙂👍🏻I have foreseen this…another Star Wars reference😄
