Your not the only one, I also fell back to my addiction this morning after not doing it for 6 days. I felt guilty cuz I felt I was going to not do it for the a month after reading the bible. But temptation got to me and I lost the battle of it. It scars me after wards but I know not to give up

My advice for quitting an addiction is to not start at all. For those who are trying to break out of an addiction, it will not be easy but you can build your mind to be strong enough so you don't depend on it anymore.

I know there is probably not a lot of women watching your videos, not to mention that thats not your thought process when you make them, but I just wanted to say that what you are doing here is a beautiful thing, truly. And that I'm here XD But again, as a woman, I don't completely relate or truly understand the deep addiction to the physical feeling, but definetly to more of the porn and what some of those people say. For me, it was any of the guy ASMR's or just having someone tell me that they love me, even if just in that way. I know now the effects that it had on me physically and mentally. I still have strong urges, especially when I lay awake at night, but I just think about the consequences instead. After watching I started to think a bit and ask myself, and I think I just figured out that I feel terrible because I am basically not in control and the urges dictate everything... I have been struggling with this PMO stuff and being tired/ unfocused for quite a while and I believe that if I give it my all and keep reminding myself of how much better of a person I could be I will in the end feel much better and more of a man for not letting these urges/feelings dictate my actions. You notice how your sexual urging related youtube videos do a lot more in terms of statistics than others, that shows you how messed up people are in todays age and im sure your already aware. i'm a teenage girl. i stopped doing...it for a long time. up until last month - yup, i got too comfortable when i was home alone in bed and...i'm sure you know what i did. i suppressed the urge for a while, but i fell back into it again. i was so, so disappointed in myself because i view it as sinful (i'm Christian). yes it's good for the body in some ways, but not good for my spirit. lovely people in the comments, please help encourage me not to do it. bless you all :)

But if I remember correctly, Jesus said; “Nothing can stop the birds from flying overhead, but you can stop them from building their nest.” This essentially means that as these lustful thoughts enter our minds, we can’t let that bird build the nest. It's painful. I made the choice. I decided, with all deep in my soul and heart to better myself, and I've been actively making an attempt. But when all your 24 hours a day you have infinite freetime, it feels fucking impossible. I'm getting better, but I just made massive decisions, finally decided to commit and double down on it, then just one slight lapse in judgement, and it's all fucking gone. I know it isn't the end, that mistakes will happen, but it feels so fucking awful knowing I absolutely swore by my soul, decided with full intent I would, but then when I'm about to go to sleep, at my weakest most brainrotted, barely motivated point, I ruin it fucking all. It's hard to move on when you prove yourself wrong again and again to the point where you can't trust yourself. But I will. Lest it be days or years, I will come out on top. I have a friend. I will tell my friend anything. I'd tell him if I were involved with the cartel for fuck's sake. Yet I'm so ashamed, so fucking appalled with myself that I wouldn't tell him. Not a soul. So I only have myself to help. But I need to not be lying. If there's something that I wouldn't tell him, that's something I'm not to be fucking doing. So, the original big commitment isn't just to stop entirely, not yet, but to start trying. Do better every day. I'll come back to this comment daily. See how far I make it. Funny how I'd say this online with people I know not a thing about. Just the only way to get it off my chest.
Think of all the things you can do & learn if you have infinite free time. Learn sum new skill, go on a hike, learn kung fu or sum bro You don't need to swear by your soul man. You're already paying with your potential & your soul when you jump on the hub. Perhaps I'm erroneous about this but I can smell desperation... Quitting out of desperation? What happens when the desperation eases up a little after a day or a week? Desperation is a strong fuel but also a quick one. It runs out quick. Purpose on the other hand... perennial, as long as you don't try to neglect & abdicate it. Have a reason to quit. Abide by that reason. Success still isn't a guarantee. This battle of lust is lifelong. People set this imo unrealistic expectations that they're gonna quit it for x say 90 days & then it's done. Its lifelong, the battle is lifelong cuz retention is more than just a habit. It's a lifestyle. The right goal imo is not to never have an impulse (which idk how realistic that is) but to not be slaves to our impulses. Let the urge come, but don't allow yourself to attach to the urge & become the urge. "It" only has the power we give it. Don't just invest all your energy into chiseling your strengths, also use it to build on & alleviate your weaknesses. Cuz like you said.... you're tempted at your weakest hours You fail when you quit trying, not when you take a setback. I know all that I've proposed is way easier said than done...but isn't that the whole point? What significance or worth would it wield had it been that facile to obtain without having any need to shed some blood for? I too fail at times. I failed recently. I know I've got a long way to go too. Im not gonna become stronger overnight. Like the saying goes- "A master of patience is a master of everything." Gotta keep getting back up.👍🏾🤝🏾

1) We are all on our own time line
This one is so good because it helps create that mindset that one may achieve his/her meaning of success earlier or later than another’s. We shouldn’t be so tuned into others lives when we have one to worry about ourselves
2) Follow the correct path, not the popular path
This one speaks for it self. Just because something is popular doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good. Sure you’ll stand out and maybe looked down upon by your peers for doing something different, but it’s much more worth to be shunned upon for doing the right thing rather than be praised for doing the wrong thing.

My advice for quitting an addiction is to not start at all. For those who are trying to break out of an addiction, it will not be easy but you can build your mind to be strong enough so you don't depend on it anymore.

I know there is probably not a lot of women watching your videos, not to mention that thats not your thought process when you make them, but I just wanted to say that what you are doing here is a beautiful thing, truly. And that I'm here XD
But again, as a woman, I don't completely relate or truly understand the deep addiction to the physical feeling, but definetly to more of the porn and what some of those people say. For me, it was any of the guy ASMR's or just having someone tell me that they love me, even if just in that way. I know now the effects that it had on me physically and mentally. I still have strong urges, especially when I lay awake at night, but I just think about the consequences instead.
Anyway, sorry for going on a rant there, but I just want to reconize what an amazing thing you're doing here Jak. Think about us when you get self concious, just like when we think about you when the same happens to us.

Hey Jak, your great at being the motivator but i really hope you read this motivation, just as much as others read yours. You notice how your sexual urging related youtube videos do a lot more in terms of statistics than others, that shows you how messed up people are in todays age and im sure your already aware. In this video, you've mentioned how you get overwhelmed and stressed occasionally and i just really hope that when you dont make these kinds of videos, your not stressed out as much as your personal problems become to you, like losing important people. i'm a teenage girl. i stopped doing...it for a long time. up until last month - yup, i got too comfortable when i was home alone in bed and...i'm sure you know what i did.
i suppressed the urge for a while, but i fell back into it again. i was so, so disappointed in myself because i view it as sinful (i'm Christian). yes it's good for the body in some ways, but not good for my spirit.

It's painful. I made the choice. I decided, with all deep in my soul and heart to better myself, and I've been actively making an attempt.
But when all your 24 hours a day you have infinite freetime, it feels fucking impossible. I'm getting better, but I just made massive decisions, finally decided to commit and double down on it, then just one slight lapse in judgement, and it's all fucking gone. I know it isn't the end, that mistakes will happen, but it feels so fucking awful knowing I absolutely swore by my soul, decided with full intent I would, but then when I'm about to go to sleep, at my weakest most brainrotted, barely motivated point, I ruin it fucking all. It's hard to move on when you prove yourself wrong again and again to the point where you can't trust yourself. But I will. Lest it be days or years, I will come out on top.
I have a friend. I will tell my friend anything. I'd tell him if I were involved with the cartel for fuck's sake. Yet I'm so ashamed, so fucking appalled with myself that I wouldn't tell him. Not a soul. So I only have myself to help. But I need to not be lying. If there's something that I wouldn't tell him, that's something I'm not to be fucking doing.
So, the original big commitment isn't just to stop entirely, not yet, but to start trying. Do better every day.

Purpose on the other hand... perennial, as long as you don't try to neglect & abdicate it.
Have a reason to quit. Abide by that reason. Success still isn't a guarantee. This battle of lust is lifelong.
People set this imo unrealistic expectations that they're gonna quit it for x say 90 days & then it's done.
Its lifelong, the battle is lifelong cuz retention is more than just a habit. It's a lifestyle.
The right goal imo is not to never have an impulse (which idk how realistic that is) but to not be slaves to our impulses. Let the urge come, but don't allow yourself to attach to the urge & become the urge.
"It" only has the power we give it.
Don't just invest all your energy into chiseling your strengths, also use it to build on & alleviate your weaknesses. Cuz like you said.... you're tempted at your weakest hours
