    Thanks for the info. Very helpful. Do you have a problem with wheel rub? Tires rubbing the wheel well?

    • @scotty555babe
      @scotty555babe  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there no problems with rubbing.. super singles may catch the leaf springs as they're a wider tyre 👍

    Great video, thanks for sharing it, did you upgrade the steering servo because with the package I got it only came with a Carson standard servo? cheers, Colin.

    And there's less play in them RC4WD Rod Ends... so if you buy a bag for a couple of quid you can replace the other rod ends on the steering to eliminate even more play... :o)

    Hello, thanks for this good tip. Question: do you have a parts number of that RC4WD steering end rods bag??

    Just a quesion can I unplug the vibration unit from the mfu 03 with no problems as I don' really like it.

    • @scotty555babe
      @scotty555babe  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +stevieholt4lyfe sure, I don't use the vibration units either as they just end uo dismantling the truck over time 👍

    • @stevieholt4lyfe
      @stevieholt4lyfe 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank for the reply bud just one thing since I I unplugged it I have noticed that my transmission is very loud. I'm running the Carson motor. Is so loud I can hear it over the mfu. As I'm not the builder of the truck it's self not sure what to make of it.

    inverted geometry, the inner wheel should have a larger angle and not vice versa

    A part number for that bag of RC4WD parts would be helpful!

    • @scotty555babe
      @scotty555babe  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No part number needed.. just search what they are.. RC4WD offset rod ends

  • @IanSparksRC
    @IanSparksRC 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you bend it a little and put it behind the axle you get an even better lock

    • @scotty555babe
      @scotty555babe  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Ian Sparks RC like with the carson rod but save £12 😂

    • @IanSparksRC
      @IanSparksRC 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, you don't need the Carson rod but its better it its behind the axle

  • @Squad61
    @Squad61 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You must place the rod behind the axle, not in front. The steering geometry is wrong with all Tamiya rubbish, resulting in bad driving in curves. Inner wheel should turn sharper than the outside wheel.
