    Hi Dr Dray 👋🏻 Since you introduced us to Korean sunscreen, I am obsessed! Their sunscreens IMHO are far superior to those offered here in the states. I have very reactive, sensitive skin (skin cancer survivor) and I would always have issues with most sunscreens I tried, expensive or otherwise until I tried the ones from Korea. I don’t know what is different in the formulation BUT it works for me! So Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! 🙏🏻

    I suggest you to try this very NEW Aveeno moisturizer SPF 30 (mineral) from the calm+restore line. It has that peachy tint to it which is not mentioned on the packaging. Amazing! I tell you. Not greasy, natural finish (not shiny), spread very easily, no white cast on my fair mid medium skin, it feels very lightweight even tho it has that creamy texture and it is moisturizing so just your fav serum underneath is enough if you have combo to oily skin. It worth trying 😉

    Talking about niacinamide in this context. I've found it to work for me in some products but not in others and I find that really interesting. Becuase when it has worked for me, it's really helped me tremendously, but when it hasn't, it's caused stinging and irritation (altogether I've never gone over 5%). Unfortunately the products in which it did work for me, I can't uses them anymore as they're unavailable. The subjectivity of skincare, how the same products work in different people is always interesting though frustrating. And yeah...here was my mini rant on niacinamide. My enemy and friend. 🌝

    Same here. I use Sunscreen Sticks (the huge ones) as LIPBalms, because they are cheaper, and they offer 50+ SPF and UVa++++. As a matter of fact, in Europe the greater part of lipbalms does not really show the real protection of UVA.

    She's one of several who have gotten me using sunscreen and a skincare routine for the last 3-4 years and am so grateful. So this isn't to "criticize" her, but has she ever shown or discussed her vitamin D levels? I'm not saying it was the consistent use of spf, but my bloodwork 6 months ago showed my levels really low (like 19 whatever units when most experts say over 70, 50 bare minimum). I've since taken 10,000 units, 2 capsules supplement several days per week, and 3 months later, it had risen to 31, so we're getting there and also proves we can have our spf and look young too lol. I'm just curious if she's said she takes or anything. Thanks, Dr. Dray for another great video

    I like the Bull Frog for swimming, but it pills over another sunscreen as well as over moisturizer. If I use a different sunscreen in the AM, then go swimming and apply BF, it begins to pill and gets worse in water and turns white. It is very difficult to remove, too. I used oil, then Cerave oil cleanser 3x before it was gone.

My darker shirts look bleached around the front collar, and my lighter shirts have yellow stain around the front collar. I’ve used both mineral and chemical (untinted) sunscreens and all of them seem to cause this problem. I don’t use any benzyl peroxide products that could be bleaching my shirts. I wear sunscreen religiously due to my rosacea. Recently I had an epiphany after coming back from vacation. Hard Water is causing my rosacea! The area I visited has bad quality water so everyone has a soft water system. My skin transformed from scaly, red and painful to just flushed in one week. Have you run across this?

    Hello doctor...I use a sunscreen which is i love, and suits my skin a lot but it's spf 30. I use 2 finger lengths on my face. So is it enough or i should go for spf 50 sunscreens. I have extremely sensitive acne prone, oily skin ...
    Also the sunscreen which I use has oxybenzone and avobenzone in is so I am being spectical about using it for a long run...should it use my regular sunscreen or should i switch it ..

    Hello! What are your thoughts on brush on mineral sunscreen powders?

    • @yasmine4071
      @yasmine4071 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I remember she said in another video it's a nice addition but there has to be SPF cream underneath for proper coverage. The powder particles are too scattered and don't provide proper protection.

      Dr Dray and other derms have videos on sunscreen use while on the plane. There's more UV radiation up higher on a plane.

      You should be able to. Usually when it comes to makeup and sunscreen, you apply our sunscreen first so the same should apply.
