Cape Byron is the most easterly point of Australia. There is a DVD made by the famous Leyland brothers who traveled in 1966, a direct route from Steep Point to Cape Byron, no tracks or roads, worth a gander if you ever get the chance. Eagles have a habit of taking out drones, yes they think it is prey.

Great video Molly. You are doing a great job. Not sure whether you have seen your sharks yet but across from the beach where you camped if you do manage to get the barge to Dirk Hartog Island in the future, there is actually a shark nursery area just off the south west corner where you will see heaps of baby sharks. Dirk Hartog is another beautiful location where you will have plenty of photo and sand driving opportunities. Also a lot of history from when the Dutch first landed on Australian soil.
You are in one of my favourite locations in WA. There is a lot more beauty of our country further up north in the Pilbara and Kimberley. Look forward to seeing your adventures in the future.

Hi Molly, lovin' your vids. On the eagle encounter, it's not the bird you need to worry about. Wedgies are very territorial and are notorious for taking down drones that stray into their space!

Hey Molly,I’m enjoying seeing my stomping grounds through your eyes. To make life a tad easier on your vehicle and gear, get your tires down to 25 psi 😂for corrugation. I have a set of “Stan’s” set up for 25 and for 18 for 4 wheeling. I have found them more efficient than the single deflator system, as you can have all 4 tyres deflating at once. Just a thought for you.

Hi Molly another great video, I must say you have come a long way with your sand driving, you are an old pro at it now 😅 . the most southern point of Aus is at Cockle Creek, a couple of hours south of Hobart, another reason for you to visit our beautiful state 😊

So cool. What are the crater-like formations that the road went through? I saw one east of Geraldton and no one knew how it was formed.
People drive these trucks decked out like this in Georgia, USA… where they are never needed. That is a great setup for there.
