1963 spoof of 60s gay-themed documentaries - THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS ("TW3") - Dec. 28, 1963, BBC

In 1963, the BBC's THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS did this dead-on spoof of sensationalistic 60s reports about the "twilight world" of "the homosexual"... but they flipped the script and made it a report on heterosexuality. Here's Kenneth Cope as a straight man lurking in the shadows. The studio audience sounds appropriately uncomfortable.

All the examples I have video of are from a bit later, but such documentaries must have been pretty common in 1960s Britain, since they got satirized on multiple shows. For instance, see also the Monty Python sketch "The Mouse Problem."
