@@KingOfKings34 there is a clear difference between realism and historical. Cold war vs WW2 isn't historical but is realistic in how the tanks function and perform. If it was to be historical then it would be 1 Tiger versus 20 shermans plus 4 P-47s on standby))

Well today the BRENUS has had quite a glow up, as it now boasts a pretty nice array of tools at the comfortable BR of 8.3, such as thermals, a laser rangefinder, IRCM, and a pretty nice lineup to back it up. So I encourage you to take a look at this underappreciated vehicle again (day 4)

With war thunder adding more artillery based machinery I would love for them to add the m109a6 paladin, it was the Vehicle that my dad had the liberty of operating when he was in the military and it’s a beefy boy.

Try going into a match with your proximity shots as your main ammo, and just shoot right above tank turret, I bet you would get a bunch of very good clips! Currently doing that myself a bunch xD, love the videos btw, excited for each new one!
Awhile ago my friend was up in the air while I was in my bkan, and he had 4 fighters on him. I had him fly low near me and I managed to get all four. It's very satisfying to get plane kills in the bkan.
Man the Swedish bandkanon is so awesome irl, personally I have see one and they are massive. If you get the chance to see one so do I recommend you taking it
I sincerely like playing this vehicle. There is nothing more satisfying than yeeting a Konigstiger with an HE round and watching the turret pop off like a champagne cork!
So, let me get this straight: Gaijin took a 1970s self-propelled artillery piece, & turned it into an armored af tank destroyer that can also effectively engage aircraft, and it gets to fight against WW2 vehicles? You know, I didn't think the BS could get any worse....
It barely has any armor and while the HE and HEAT shell is pretty good it still is an HE shell so it wont go throught walls trees etc, also 90% of crew is in the turret so youre gonna get one shot in the turret most of the time

Are the HE shells- better? Because I usually avoid them because they do weird things and I usually hate when I get no pen with the 60+mm penetrating HE, so I stick to the 250+ penetrating round, forget the name and I’m too lazy to load it up and check
I used to bitch about the huge time gaps between some tanks playing together. The WW1 and WW2 kinda make sense because the interwar period. The coldwars and modern vs WW2 is a bit ridiculous. But looking at actual conflicts it's not so easy to say impossible. I seen a Luchs being used in Iraq by ISIS back in 2015. I seen a Dshka gun milktruck being used in Syria. I still will never forgive Gaejin for the my eyes getting r*ped by seeing the Maus fighting Leos and the broken immersion it entails.

Just make sure to account for the fact the prozy fuze only works past i think 300 meters.

You should load full HEVT, you can direct impact it on tanks, you can topdown light tanks, and you can shoot aircraft
Itll explode in mid air if shot directly at a tank. As long as theyre far enough away for the proxy fuze to engage.

Penetration doesnt mean anything for HE. Explosive mass to overpressure the crew is all that matters.
