@@sailorpete136 If you were able to reset the radio to factory, to set the MMSI number if you don't see it come up right away: 1) Long press on MENU key 2) select DSC SETUP 3) select USER MMSI 4) select '>.' That should bring up the screen for initial MMSI programming.
@@sailorpete136 If you're able to get into the factory reset menu, it means the software hasn't changed. They only changed the password number between the RS35 and the RS40.
удивлен ,что невозможно отремонтировать ,столь не сложную поломку . Я не знаю кто диагностировал , но там явно видно наличие плохого контакта и именно там перегрев. Сервис мануала нет у меня на эту рацию ,более предметно не скажу.

Thanks for that but sorry it didn’t work. After reset is skips the MMSI number.

Да можно пропаять но нужно понять что там еще отвалилось. Такое в целом легко чинить
