well they say if you put the supercharger on the 2.2 ecotec along with the intake manifold and throttle body and flash the computer you should push 220 whp thats with out any internals

Same, mines the golden/ champagne color, and I really wished it sounded like that too
I'll even take the Pontiac sunfire coupe and convertible add a 1inch lower suspension like struts springs and shocks struts add a custom 17 inch custom wheels any exhaust system modified the stock headers or custom headers and K&N air filter or cold air intake get a dual Ram air hood in any color
Seen Cavi's do this but never a Sunfire. Good looking car and great numbers! Keep it up!
The Caviler and the Sunfire both have a 2.2l L61 Ecotec in 2003-2005. The L61 is able to be highly modded (I know because I am putting a total of $17k under the hood. I hope to be done in a few years).

Somebody know what turbo are compatible with this car?
There would be alot. It would be good to get into contact with company that specializes in it if your serious about installing a turbo.

thats pretty good for only a super chager up grade going from 140 145 to 200 thats 55 to 60 hp more
Your comment is your opinion. Feel free to say all you want. Buy a Supra or Silvia and put $40k into it and it would match a Sunfire with $20k into it. If you don't believe me, build them yourself.
you people are silly. 200 hp for a 4 cylinder with forced induction is pretty average. The S/C that people use are the M62 Eaton superchargers, and they're basically stock. You can pick up a used kit for 1,000+. They take it from 145/155 stock to 200. All stock internals, easy job, and by the way, these cars weigh between 2,400-2800 lbs. I weighed mine, with me in it, at 2600. 200 hp and 2500 lbs can probably get you running low 14's or 13's
Are you talking 200bhp or 200whp though? I assumed the 200.56hp was whp, which is more than a stock Ion Redline which has 200bhp (probably around 150-160whp). So, that would put this around 250-267bhp @ ~2700lbs curb weight.

I couldn't tell you, wasn't my car. I have my guesses though considering 90% of j-bodies are no longer on the road.
well considering they only had 140hp from the factory i think a STOCK s/c from a cobalt ss being put on this car made good numbers. I too will be doing this to my ecotec. good job and keep up the good work.
