It’s that way at any game. BYU is not merely an Utah school, but is national & international in its student body. BYU alumni have regional alumni organizations throughout the world. Each BYU game ANYWHERE will have a large tailgate party before each away game & typically will bring 15,000-25,000 fans from the surrounding 3/4 state area to each game. I was there yesterday. We are from Arkansas. There were BYU alums & fans there from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana &, of course, Texas. It was about a 40/60 split with BYU nearly making up half of the fans. I’m an alumni & my daughter is a sophomore at BYU.
SMU has a significant QB issue. Seems like they want to play Stone because of how good of a recruit he was. Don't want to lose him. But he's just not very good right now. At the same time Jennings has his flaws too. Very inaccurate, especially further downfield. Doesn't help either QB that the Oline gives up pressure so easy. Gotta find a way to get #1 the ball more because hes electric
I like how the comments on this video are “wow both these teams are trash.” It’s November and there’s still a lot of football to be played, but SMU and BYU haven’t lost since this game, are both in the top 15, and have a pretty good shot of making it to their respective conference title games.
That BYU front seven is really solid. Batty, Mangleson, Nelson, Kelly, Taggart... they got some dogs
Great edit!
The Mustangs and the Cougars......sounds like the Ford Motor Company Bowl.
Indeed
Sounds like there are more BYU fans than SMU fans
There's a significant LDS population in DFW and Texas generally.
It’s also Dallas so no surprise there 😂

BYU’s defense is the only reason they won this game. Offense had 2-3 decent drives, the rest was awful.
I was thinking the same thing.
Totally unimpressed with BYU's offense.
Offense was atrocious
SMU had plenty of chances to win this game
SMU looked bad. Good luck in the ACC! How many times did they start possession inside BYU territory? Four? Five? Just awful.
Lot's of action in this one!

Martin Jose Johnson Patricia Perez Maria
SMU has some confusing offensive plays!! Just run the football and play smart
Why does every team have a condensed game besides Miami week 1
Smu should be in the BIG 12
The team that killed the ACC. Was it worth trading Clemson, FSU, & Miami for this. Nope.
Adding SMU isn't pushing those others out. They were already looking at the exits.
Blame Boston College
This makes no sense 😂

Horrible game.
